Russets amber eyes rolled dramatically when Elenora came to Britts rescue. Such a disappointment those two were proving to be.
Her eyes followed Elenora when she left, studying the females facial expression, body language, and her tone from when hushed Russet. A cynical grin grew on Russets cheeks. The other female had quite a bit of hostility and intolerance built up inside of her. One day, maybe not soon, but the she-wolf would snap. And Russet would be the one to do it. She licked her lips, and turned to face Xane, a pleasant expression on her face, as she waiting for the scolding that was most expected to pass from her alphas lips.

His ears laid back in irritation as russet came to the scene. She was still new, she had no need to act like she was an alpha. He was wondering if taking them both in was a mistake. He wouldn't tolerate a new member acting like a word he held in, but he had such a strong urge to say it. Knowing it would make him just a low as her, he kept it in. He was about to step in, but Elenore made her way first. He smiled as the communication between them was becoming successful. He knew he had made a good choice with britt.
As for russet, when the ordeal was over she came up to him and practically begged for a punishment. He huffed and rolled his eyes. He wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of a lecture. It would only male her laugh inside by the face she was giving him. He simply walked past her and stopped next to Wulfsige. He kept his voice low out of hearing range from russet, "mind your mate... You guys are all new, no need for her to act like she's an alphess" he hoped having wulfsige around will help with the welcoming process of all his new wolves.

OOC: she didn't come up to him lol she was next to him the whole time haha
Russet sniffed. Xane didn't give her a punishment. In her mind, this meant she did nothing wrong. She smirked, but it quickly faded. No wolf in this pack had a short temper, so her long leash was useless. She sigh. There was no point in picking a fight when there was nothing and no wolf to pick at.
Her proud waving tail drooped a little in sorrow. She looked at the ground, and let another sigh. She perked up her ears, catching wind of the smell of a pup. She looked at Xane. "Whos that pup?" she asked enthusiastically, her eyes wide with hope.

Elanora considered offering Britt a simple nod in response, but instead she mustered the effort to squeeze out two softly spoken words: “Your welcome.” She ceased her playing with the grass, turning her gaze to Britt’s grey- and cream-colored face. Elanora was not the best when it came to discussions; she spoke only out of necessity, really. But this was an occasion that Elanora knew required good social conduct. So she licked her muzzle to warm up her tongue, and said to Britt, “So, what do you think?” It was a simple question. So simple, in fact, that some might find it difficult to understand what she spoke of. Elanora referred to what Britt thought of her new pack.
Elanora broke her gaze with Britt briefly to steal a look at Russet. The she-wolf was an annoyance, a fire-starter, who didn’t know any rules or boundaries. Elanora could understand Xane’s decision to ignore Russet’s misbehavior, but at the same time she wished that someone would control Russet. Elanora, usually cool-tempered and even-mannered, was indeed feeling the pressure of pack life. It was easy to get along with just Xane, and Kassander was only a pup, but living with multiple wolves that she had nothing in common with slowly increased the tension in Elanora.

Kassander The Intensity of a dream -- a thought -- it can drown someone...especially when said dream is of drowning. That's where Kassander was : drowning in his mind's eyes, tiny paws thrashing against the water of this memory. He was scrambling and yet it did not end, for he was breathing in the world of the living. It was dark, obviously night time, but the tawny pup was not sure how he had arrived. He didn't think too long of this -- he didn't think at all -- fear gripped him like teeth and his cries were merely gurgles. Not once had he made a single sound outside of his dream, he very rarely did, and the pup lay still, an occasional paw twitch being the only indication he was mentally active. Slowly, his mind became blank as the dream ended, the intensity apparently winning over the grip of slumber. He was quite warm, nestled amongst some particularly tall grass in the den site, a feeling that was welcome after the bitter cold his dream had offered. His brown eyes slid open in a calm and groggy manner, as they always did, and looked around, unfocused. Used to seeing the furry bodies of his pack nestled around him, he saw no one. This incited a small flicker of panic inside the pup, as he was obviously quite attached to Xane, Elenora and the others, and his eyes began to focus -- his mind processing the situation. It was daytime, which he found quite odd because his dreams usually woke him in the dead of the night. He then remembered his activities the night before, explaining why he had slept in when usually he would be bustling around the clearing. This was also probably why he could not see his pack. They were around him though, he could sense them -- no sight needed to know they were still near. Their voices floated toward him and he could attach each one to a name. His sandy head stirred the green blades of grass around him as he lifted it and turned to look behind him. There they were! He had found them and, in relief, his tail gave a few thumps against the ground. His head swiveled to face it's original direction, a yawn escaping bright pink chops. He stood and shook his fur, successfully dislodging the various woodland particles. He stretched into a bow, his bones cracking as he extended each limb in succession. He turned on a dime and bounced toward Xane, the one he owed his life to. He loved his pack but his Alpha was probably his favorite. Kassander skittered this way and that between the long legs of the adult wolf. However, he stopped suddenly when something -- or rather someone -- caught his eye. He stared toward Elenora, the figure of the ebony female familiar enough, but it was her companion that intrigued him. There had been an increase in pack members, the pup warming up to each of them almost immediately, but this female was new -- newly new. The silver female struck him as quite normal. Was she possibly a Zama? His brown eyes glanced to hers ,beholding plain copper -- obviously not Gala eyes. To her throat -- no gills. To her back -- no spines. To her tail -- no bony club. To her paws -- no extremely long claws. And to her mouth, noting the non-lethal look of her canines. His head tilted to the side as he continued to stare, the wind playing with his fluffy fur. He had never before seen a wolf without any sort of gift. In fact, he was pretty sure they no longer existed. How was it possible? Weren't they weak? He looked up to Xane, inquiry etched in his expression. "Who is that?", he asked. Fire Starter

I know she is out there. [[good to see ya everander!]] He continued to watch the progress of each member. Making sure russet would try to start something. Or that britt was coming in comfortable. Or that Zalenus wouldn't have a minor control problem with his personalities. A scent caught his attention. His tail lazily wagged, it was the scent of one of his favorite little pack members. Kassander, the fire pup. Apparently he had woken up from his sleep. He was gear to introduce him to britt. Since Kasander was younger, he had quiet the welcoming personality, so he never worried about a pack disagreement.
He was about to go search for the pup, but instead kassander came to him. He felt the soft, fluffy fur tickle his legs as he made his way through. "who is that? he questioned, as is what most wolves would do to a new addition. He smiled, "that is britt. I found her on the territory early this morning, she was an out cast. And she seemed sweet enough to join the pack..." he explained, remember the events from this morning. "Would you Ike to go meet her, kassander?" he looked down at him between his legs. But my pack comes first, even if it hurts.

I know she is out there. He turned his head towards russet. He kept a cold stare, frustrated at her from the moments before. "Why so you can snap at him, like you did britt?" he realized she wouldn't do that. But it was just an emotion he had towards her now. And realizing she wouldn't hurt a hair on his head. "His name is kassander..." his voice was low and cold.
Ever since kassander arrived, he grew close to the pup. He liked to feel that kassander was his, but he knew he wasn't. He felt like a father to him, and he had grown very protective of him. And due to the brief moments before with russet, he wasn't in the best mood to talk to her about kassander.
But my pack comes first, even if it hurts.

"Kassander..." Russet repeated, tasting the words on her tongue. She ignored the comment about her snapping at Britt, she had no regrets. Her catty amber eyes softened as they briefly mentioned the pup, her tone light and friendly. She cocked her head the the left a little, looking at the pup. "Is he yours?" she asked, wondering the possibilities of Xane having a mate and where she could be now. Even when she spoke to Xane, her eyes never left the pup. It wasn't a creepy stare, more like a loving compassionate gaze. Any wolf would think Kassander was Russets own pup by the way she gazed at him.

Kodiak looked up towards the bright morning sun, careful not to star directly. He had just risen from a nap, and was now full of energy. He stretched and gave himself a shake. He could smell traces of his pack up ahead. Must not have been sleeping that long he thought to himself.
Kodiak made sure to soak up all of the sun he could. His instincts told him that tomorrow, or even in a couple of hours, it could start raining. He hurried through the trees, smelling his pack leaders scent up ahead. Before heading on, he made sure he looked decent at least, and trudged on.
Kodiak padded up towards the other members of his pack, trying not to look bad for staying behind. "Mornin' everyone!" he greeted, trying to sound interested in what was going on. The fact was that he didn't really know. Deciding not to ask, he just tried to read the body language of his pack members.

I know she is out there. He didn't have the wanted to talk to her, maybe in a couple hours when the situation has died down. He kept a cold wide stare when she asked if he was his own. He shook his head, "No he isn't" he simp,y answer, and that's all he wanted to say. "Let's go meet her kassander" he changed his emotions when he looked back down at kassander. He stepped lightly around the pup that stood between his legs to go see britt and Elenora. Or mostly to get away from russet. But my pack comes first, even if it hurts.

Kassander -- Fire Starter Brown eyes stayed on the figure of Elenora and the new pack mate, the fact that Elenora was actually being personable. Kassander knew the she wolf to be extremely inverted and somewhat....well disliked maybe? She never had anything to do with anyone else and the pup wondered if this new female was somehow special. Maybe she did have power after all: the power to make wolves like her. Kassander looked up to Xane at his question but was cut off when he noticed the presence of another. It was one of the new wolves, Russet, he knew every wolf by name. He had never spoken to her personally but he liked her enough. Though, from what he had heard, she wasn't the nicest wolf around. Kassander didn't see any difference in her especially since now she was looking at him so nicely and he stared back at her in happiness, his tail wagging. Xane ,on the other hand, seemed to be giving her the cold shoulder and he wasn't quite sure why. He glanced between the two until the Beta arrived. He opened his mouth to bark a greeting to him when Xane addressed him again. "Sure!", the pup yipped to the offer to go meet her. ((Thanks! And I'm quite sorry for like poofing for a week, it was quite unexpected ))

How did she feel about it? Well, to be frank, Britt absolutely loved just seeing other wolves that weren't looking to draw blood for her intruding on the pack land like she had. But it was most certainly pleasant for her. A calamity surrounded most of the pack, except for Russet, that she truly liked. As she thought about it for a few seconds, she replied,"It's really a nice pack." A smile crept onto her lips,"Everyone except for Russet. I figure she wanted to make quite the impression on me."
It defiantly seemed like she wanted to. The female had been pretty blunt in her greeting. But being blunt was better than the teeth and claw that she had met before. Being a loner was hard on any male. But being a female could make it worse. Pack females were not usually willing to accept new females unless they were in a dire need of pack members. She had faced a pack like that before. The female was in control though, the strongest and most un-accepting female she had ever met before.
It would have been a thing like murder. A bloody and horrible murder. But time and fate had been with her on this particular occasion. Time and fate seemed to always be with her.
Fate was what had led her to Xane and this pack. The doe had dragged her through mud and rain to lead her here to this small group of wolves whom accepted her for the she-wolf she was.
Xane was also here. That name had been popping up in her head more and more as time in the pack increased. He seemed kind enough and protected the members of his pack with a ferocity that could not be stopped. Especially the pup. She liked Kassander, and Xane seemed to guard him like a piece of meat from a starving bear. Or in the case of Russet, she should say a tiger. Pups were something she always loved. Could this pack help her to gain her own...? Time could only tell, and, at the moment, it wasn't speaking.

Elanora offered a simple nod in response to Britt’s reply. The she-wolf seemed just happy enough to have found a home, by the way she talked. Elanora let the comfortable quiet fall over them, leaving Britt to her thoughts.
Elanora laid her black head upon her black paws, the single earring in her right ear glistening in a stray ray of sunlight. She watched the going-ons of the pack half-heartedly, content to wait in silence until something called for her attention.

Perhaps a bit uncharacteristically of Wulfsige, Wulfsige couldn't help the light pink tinge on his cheeks from embarrassment as Xane whispered to him, well, if wolves could blush that is. He mumbled agreement, his white eyes cast downwards in both respect and embarrassment. After Xane had gone, Wulfsige straightened up and his eyes read no clear emotion to those looking at him. He closed his eyes, and sighed softly, to a point where few, even as wolves, could hear. In truth, he sometimes got a bit uneasy near Russet, even if she was his mate, when she tried to start a fight. Sometime he wished she would tone it down. But she was still his mate and he didn't feel like being the old stereotype of a male being the dominating one. He stopped contemplating over it and decided it would do him no good. Especially one such as himself, with a slow nature, he had to go somewhere. He decided maybe he would introduce himself more formally to Britt, the new pack member if he was correct, although they were all new, excluding Xane and Elenora. It was of good manner to do so, he decided. He would simply bide his time until then...
OOC None. NOTES None, really. A kind of... pointless post? Forgive, not much of anything that might spur anything new here... LYRICS None.
