What /YOU/ want to see!

Before we can start the complete overhaul of the site, I need to know what you guys, as users, want/need to see happen! I've got a plot to twist things around, OR, would you all like to start completely from scratch?

What do you want to see implemented/taken away?

What do you want to see as a layout?

What do you want to see in the form of artwork?

Hmm. Well first off, I think we need to see who all is here & not. That the biggest. People who we know haven't really been active since they started, need to be deleted and charaters that were never used need to be deleted too.

A new layout, is most definatly needed. This one is getting fairly old. Maybe something in a light pick for spring? (:
Something refreshing in light colors! and a newer banner for the site.

A fresh advertisement might be just the thing we need for attracting newer players and maybe spread the word to old roleplaying friends & new ones looking for sites. We accept all, from begginers to oldies so for right now I think we need to try to.. appear, I guess.. I can't think of what I want to say lol to the newer Rpers and middle classs Rpers rather than the older ones who write six pages or more everytime, allthough those are also deffiantly needed to balance things out!

Do you want some help? I might not have the time to design a new layout or advertise much but I could go through the old players and charaters and stuff and see what needs to be archived or deleated or update the side bar things for you (:

If you could compile a list for me, that'd be perfect- just potential deletions for now. I'm not deleting anything/one that belongs to someone who's going to be here next week.

Don't do no pink shit. you'll lose all chance of getting any serious players. and no males either. people judge a forum immediately by the colors, then the activity, as in last posts and who's logged in lately, and then number of boards, then the visible layouts as far as code, graphics etcetera, and then is the admin active, in that order. i would know, it's what i used to do all the time is go around judging forums and deciding what i wanted to join and help fix it up get it active, then wander off again.

I will begin right now going through my memory and pulling out all of the Code support forums I can think of, and logging in/remaking accounts and start digging and pulling up some stuff for layouts.

I need to be made a G-Mod or better to be of any real support in this.

I also have a new friend who is a god with an art program. I will see if he wants to help. And I am a god at finding pics to be maniped.

I can also help with advertising, but what you desperately need is affiliates. You need to go through all the ones you have and check that they are still alive, if not, they need to be removed. A lot of them are dead or the links don't work. Also, the scrolling marquee setup you have right now, you have for one, way too fuckin many of them scrolling. if you pass up the one you want to look at, you have to wait AGES for it to come back around. Scrolling marquee affs are the bane of my existence, and I'm not the only one who feels like that. there have been a few discussions about it on Support. It's not all that popular.

As far as the current members and threads, of the members that return, see if they want to continue their threads, if not, delete the threads that belong to members you remove. Go on and start some new threads. Having threads dated 6 months ago, does not encourage guests to stay long, because that is one of the main things they are looking at since most message boards are dead.

Finally, I like the plot of the site, moving the story along a little might help, but it's not necessary right now since for one the site isn't really all that old essentially, as far as active time goes. Reading the rp posts, it doesn't seem like there's any specific trends just yet as far as directions to take the plot. Yea Warg joining the Eastern as alpha and the trouble he could bring, might be a good thing to add to the plot. like, who is this strange new visitor and what are his intentions...find out!

P.S. Yes I can. You really honestly, seriously, need to find out if the ORIGINAL ADMIN yes, the one that abandoned this site, the one who's profile says ADMIN as the username, you need to get in contact with her and she needs to come on and change the password and give the account to Xane or whoever is going to take the admin spot. That way for one, the site has an admin, which some guests do check the admin profile for activity, it is important, and second, all of the administration abilities of the site are available.

Hell, you might as well just officially close down this site and remake Time. Bring over some things, all returning members can join over there, copy and paste all the rules, powers, all that stuff. people can bring over their threads they wanna continue etc. then you have access to that admin profile, the site looks brand new, which is also good for new members, we like the shiney new car smell.

I like what Warg had to say. I think I might make Shanto and Warg my two mod/admins, and completely remake time.

Opal hasn't been here for a while, and her Admin account is just... Rotting there. Unused. We can't delete it, or do anything. :/

I'll see if I can get ahold of Opal either way, I might be able to get to her through deviantart or some other site... She didn't really abandon it, she had to leave so she left it all to Xane. I'll try to get ahold of her though. EDIT: sent her a message on deviantart.

ALSO, I have Xane's # for you Scour, I'll PM it to you.

As for site colors, I think we do need something lightish. Not neccesarily pink. Maybe two layouts both made, one dark and the other light. People could then pick to their own prefferences. It could be more appealing that way, because I know my cousin loves dark looks but I like the lighter ones myself & I lean to the sites with them.

We need coding help and any other help that wise. I'll registaer on the new site and if you could bump me up on both, that would be great scour. I'll work on a new advertisement maybe in my spare time. Oh, if someone could make a mini banner too, that would be great. I'm horrible at trying to make those.

I have a old friend that makes some manips, she isn't the greatest, but she may be able to help out if we can't get others to.
