GLOSSARY:
Uuma, what they call their race of enhanced wolves. Namma, what they call the ordinary race of wolves.
HISTORY:
According to popular legend, the Uuma were created by man, many years ago, in the Russia. Ordinary wolves were modified by humans, who had in mind the idea of not only discovering the deep secrets of genetics, but applying what they learned to create creatures for war. The scientists succeeded with much trial and error, developing a new wolf that was far greater than the old one. They were not only physically gifted but mentally also, for this new creature was self-aware and smarter than any other. The whole experiment was huge and lengthy, and many wolves were born and changed and bred, until there were legions of them. And that was when the Uuma gathered together and escaped. They fought their bloody way out of their prison. They went into hiding. The humans launched an expensive search for them, for it was rather bad press to have genetically modified monsters roaming the streets. It was only a matter of time, and the Uuma were discovered. The Uuma, of course, not wanted to be discovered ran and hid from the humans. They all knew of their abilities. They could kill, but they didnt want to kill the ones who gave them extrodinary power. During the search, several wolves were captured and "taken care of". The stronger and more smarter wolves found their way out of the country. Some swam, some flew, some teleported, etc, etc. After a years and years the Uuma split and branched out, forming new groups and territories. It was then that a few wolves discovered Yellowstone, abandoned by humans but still full of life. That was when the three packs were born.
Or, so the elders say.
DISPOSITION:
The Uuma, though perhaps having higher intelligence, are still very much wolf. They communicate with their own formed words, but also a great deal of talking is done through the body, with the tail, ears, and so on. Their social hierarchy is slightly more defined than the Naama's, and in general their race is more sophisticated. Because of this a global sense of superiority has developed amongst the Uuma.
