Name: Arube Gender: Female Age: 4 years Type: Timber wolf
Pack: Eastern Rank: Regular member Items: Gala eyes, feathers, empathy
Appearance: Arube has a lighter build with slightly longer legs and less extra fur, making her agile and swift. The drawback is obviously a lack of physical strength. Her fur is sleek and colourless, composed of the same shades of gray as her sister’s coat. Arube’s main coat colour is dark gray. As for her under coat, she has a light gray throat, chest and belly (all of her markings are the same shade of gray unless stated otherwise). She has streaks on the backs of her limbs that are a slightly lighter gray than her base coat, but not nearly as light as her undercoat. On her legs, she has “stockings” (entire leg) on her front legs and “socks” (up to the hock) on her back legs. She also has a white lining on the backs of all of her legs and paws. When it comes to her face, Arube has light gray jaw and brow, a white muzzle and a white eye “hook”. Both of her ears are black and have white and brown striped feathers tucked behind them. Furthermore, Arube has a dark gray (almost black) dorsal stripe, along with patches of the same shade on her neck, ribs and hips. Her tail has patches of black on top and light gray underneath. Finally, she has three scars: a gash located to the leg of her spine and on her hips, another gash on her left knee and a small scratch on her right front leg.
Gala Eye Chart Happy: Light amber Content: Amber Sad: Dull brown Afraid: Dark brown Angry: Dark red-orange
Note: Any sort of emotion or feeling that branches from one of the moods listed has the colour of the basic emotion. Eg: worried = dark brown, irritated = dark red-orange, optimistic = light amber etc.
Temperament: Arube is a quiet, thoughtful and shy young wolf. She is passive, docile and very sensitive. Her feelings are easily hurt and she has a habit of taking everything someone does as a personal insult as a result of paranoia. She is generally antisocial and spends most of her time alone, which makes other wolves wonder why she is even part of a pack. The answer is simple: she is dependent. Arube is incapable of trusting her own judgement and she is afraid of pretty much everything, so she hopes that others will save her. Even though Arube is quite weak emotionally, she is a good runner and is quite intelligent (unfortunately, this is rarely put to use). She is also a good friend when one gets to know her, as her empathy makes it easy for her to understand others. She will lend a helping ear when someone ever needs to talk, and she is good at keeping secrets. Arube makes a good pack member because she is so willing to please, which is also a flaw as she is easily walked all over. However, she is smart enough to know where to draw the line if a task is simply not right or she knows she can’t do it.
History: Arube was born with Vedemera in a different pack. All was well until one day when something spooked the shy and timid wolf pup enough to send her bolting from the hunt that she and her pack was on. The pack did not think it was much of a loss, as she was deemed as a useless freak because of her eyes and personality. The only wolves that missed her were her sister and mother. It was quite fortunate that she was only several miles from the territory of the Eastern pack. A mother wolf in the pack happened to stumble upon the pathetic ball of fluff. She took pity on the pup and took her in. Arube took up a habit of collecting feathers and tucking them behind her ears during early adolescence, and she still does so whenever a feather falls out or becomes ragged. Around the same time, she discovered that was able to read the emotions of others, which boosted her self-esteem by making her feel special. Arube maintained her shy and dependent nature right into adulthood, sometimes making her a bother to the pack. However, her ability to hunt many small animals, talent at scouting and staying on everyone's good side by doing them favours kept her from dropping in status to a lowly omega. Arube still remembers her sister, and sometimes wishes they would find each other. In fact, when she's alone, her sister is all she can think about. Unfortunately, the she-wolf is too afraid to leave the pack and go looking for her, as being lost scarred her for life.
