Appearance
Zalenus is a 32 inch tall and 100 pounds. His build is solid, but not stocky. He is extremely muscular, but doesnt know how strong he is and cant control himself sometimes.
He has thick, medium length creamy ginger fur, thats darkest on his back and gets lighter towards his belly. The fur on the back of his neck is noticeably longer than the surrounding fur, giving him a lion like mane. He has a long silky furred strawberry blonde tail.
He has small, delicate looking white paws that have unusually soft and pink pads, not good for rocky terrain. His legs have short creamy fur on them. The inside of his front right leg has a long scar, running from his chest to below his knee. The skin around it is furless, and it looks quite ugly.
His eyes are a clear frozen pond of blue, which he uses to stare others down, never looking away first. His eyes are darkly defined, a ring of black fur growing around them.
Temperment
When you meet him, Zalenus seems moody and bipolar. You might even go so extreme to think he is outright crazy, and maybe he is. But what he has, is multiple personality disorder. Each personality is unique and has its own name. Some of the personalities even 'know' each other. His mind is a raging battlefield, each personality screaming for control of him.
Kane- Kane is the sweet, compassionate, and understanding Zalenus. He is never angry, and can always sympathize with what others are dealing with and can comfort them accordingly. He hates to get wet, and will throw fits before during and after each rainfall.

Helios- This is the character side of Zalenus that is cocky, arrogant, and hot headed. He is always right, even when he wrong. He believes he is perfect, and will endlessly remind you of it. His goal is to live forever.
[Argues with Gee endlessly, but gets along with Harrison]
Gee- Gee is a peculiar part of Zalenus. When he speaks, the ending number of syllables must always be a multiple of four, and he will babble endlessly until the syllables are a multiple of four. He is high energy and optimistic, and always sees the glass as half full. Your territory burned down in a fire, your pack all died from disease and youre being hunted down by your angry ex-mate? At least the water is good and prey is abundant! And, youre alive! Whoopeeee!
[Friends with Kane, despises Helios]
Dama- The only female part of Zalenus, she represents the nurturing leader that Zalenus one day could be. She is caring but strict, and likes to make and enforce rules. She is extremely hypocritical though, and she herself alone can break these rules she creates.

Coal-The somewhat cold stream of thoughts in Zalenus' mind. He always thinks things through, and sees all the possibilities and outcomes of Zalenus' actions.
[Friends with Harrison and Dama]
Harrison- The determined and persevering part of Zalenus. He used to be the underdog, never the one in control of Zalenus, but he has finally matured from his playful goofy self, and wants to represent what a man really is. He wants to be remembered for something when he is dead, not necessarily a hero, but he doesn't want his life to be a waste either. Even though he is more mature than he used to be, he will still often goof off, and manages to sidetracked very easily. Short attention span.

History
Zalenus was born to two wolves in a pack of seven. His father was once the alpha, and became mates to his mother after another wolf proved superior and took his place of alpha. His mother died a bit after he was weaned, and this is when he first started showing signs of losing his sanity.
The other wolves that the loss of his mother drove him crazy, and at first were sympathetic. But after a while, they grew sick of him and his strangeness, and drove him out. His father didn't raise a paw to help him, even though he knew the truth, because he knew the truth.
Zalenus wasn't crazy from his grief, he had always had the disorder, always been 'sick'. But his mother, with the healing power, managed to subdue the sickness, and helped her son Zalenus keep control of himself. Unfortunately, the power a healer has is limited, and she began to draw of her own life and health to help him. She died in an attempt to seal the sickness away, even though she knew it wasnt possible to do such a thing. Indirectly, Zalenus killed his own mother. And his father hated him for it.
Ever since then, Zalenus has wandered about alone. He often encounters other wolves, but they shrug and walk away, leaving him to die alone. But he isnt crazy, he can take care of himself. He can hunt, he can find water, he can live. He just cant control himself.
