z a f e r a. It had been a half a year since her arrival into the pack with Xane. And she was no longer a little puppy. Well, at least she didn't have the body of a puppy. A medium sized, fern-green wolf stalked the bushes. What she was looking for wasn't exactly clear. She was just looking. It wasn't long before she had reached the end of her packs territory. Her explorations have never gone over this line. She had always wondered what was out there. Would today be the day? Maybe she just needed some wolf to push her over. And then, she sat down. Her tail wagged carelessly, content as she could be.

| The black prankster had his trademark smirk on his like a Cheshire Cat. The tall, adolescent male watched above in the trees, his claws gripping to the branches, and although sharp and lethal in battle, he held rather feebly. But enough, enough to keep him stable and for his natural arrogance to shine and mark him out. He had shed the scent of a Southerner and now took a Northerner's scent, if they had a specific scent inherent to them all. Of course, he was the newest and perhaps the youngest, or second to youngest, next to Cougar, thus he might not be known to the packs. But the young one knew how rumors and news spread like wildfire, and surely the Southern pack had alerted the other packs someway or another. But that was just one of many possibilities flitting through the male's mind. His keen, mischievous eyes danced darkly as he watched a fern-green female, close to his age, perhaps a month or so older than him. But specifics were of no use to him right now. He knew he wasn't allowed out here technically, perhaps, but oh well. He was a wolf thirsty for adventure, and when he was feeling riled up and darkly happy, he would cause a series of pranks at times. But he hadn't caused a single one since his entrance to the Northern pack. So he was hungry to do something.
Mrs.Moonrunner will certainly have my hide if she knows I was here, who knows? Perhaps Gaellis, Cougar and the outher two ladies will as well. Staying eerily silent as needed, the male watched with no expression at the female perhaps 20 feet below him. How he had gotten up the tree had been an effort of using his telekinesis to allow his more grip and force his body upwards some, determination and sweat. Right now he was invisible to view due to his Mirage he had easily set up, any wolf looking at the area wouldn't suspect a thing. Now... scent was a different thing, but the wind were not bringing his scent in the she-wolf's direction, or, at least they hadn't been when he had first gotten up in the tree. He had no idea why he had taken a curious interest in the female's who coloration irritatingly blended very well with the greens and dark greens of the forest. He layed down on the branch, his midnight-dark eyes swinging back and forth, watching the other wolf wag her tail. He would wait and see what would happen.
We'll see indeed... Let's just hope I don't get torn apart by this pack or Moonrunner...

z a f e r a. She had been completely occupied that she didn't realize she was being watched. Since the time she stepped paw into this territory, she had never left it. Sticking close to Xane is what she had grown up to do. He was practically her father. Of course she hadn't forgotten who her father was, but Xane helped her grow up to the young female she is today.
She looked down in frustration. There was a slight sting at the back of her mind. Ever since renaissance had become the alphess, he had been busy. The two had been so close. He was he father and her teacher in her eyes. And they had grown a close connection. He was the only parental figure in her life that cared for her, that didn't abandon her. And now since his company was scarce, and since everander disappeared long ago, she felt alone in the pack.
She sat on the edge of the territory, wondering if today would be the day she would make a step out. Not towards freedom, but something that would fulfill the loneliness she had been feeling for the last few months. "Stupid renaissance... Stupid Xane..." she muttered. Of course she didn't really despise them, it was more of a hidden jealousy. How pup-like of her.
