W I N D B R E A K E R His paws recognized this land, his ears the sounds of gushing water, his muzzle the scent of musky wolves. He sighed, allowing himself to feel the beams of the rising sun to cascade over his coat, muzzle pointing into the valley below. Yes, his tired paws brought him back to this very place, back to his homeland.
Here, he had played with his sister, here he had scarred her for life.
Here was where she had gone insane, and had lost herself.
Rumors had spread from pack to pack, reaching him in the far south. Rumors of a crazed She-wolf out for blood with two different colored eyes, wings as black as night. He could only assume this to be her but he couldn't be sure until she showed herself. If it was, then...
He hardened himself.
It was time to speak to Mros.
His muzzle rose into the light air, a loner requesting permission to travel into the lands he once called home. This howl was meant for Mros, but Logan had been gone for too long, and did not yet realize what had become of his home.
He wondered if anyone besides his old Alpha would recognize him... It wasn't every day a wolf was born with no eyes.

| Ears, shapes perfectly like triangles were perked and perched at the top of her head like a sonar, flicking comically back and forth as the wispy-coated Illyrian trotted without a care in the world towards the unfamiliar scent. The wolf had joined after Mors had died or gone missing and was relatively young, being 2 years old forever, due to her Immortality. Of course, she knew not of it. She was probably not authorized to do this, but the careless, adventurous she-wolf was still a Southerner. The sun of the new spring was ever-bright around the Weather-controlling she-wolf, emphasizing her very happy mood. Singing her YAY! song, the she-wolf, polka-doted with mint green and light blue suddenly leaped into the air, her wings spread wide. "YAAAAAAAY!!! I'M FLYING, AGAIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!" - the ADHD wolf shouted in ridiculous delight, her fur shining.
WWWHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEE!!! Hopping down with her ability of Sky-Walking once she saw the chestnut figure far down below, the she-wolf dropped like a stone and landed without a hitch. As she landed with barely a sound, the female noticed with crazed golden eyes that the male looked odd in some way. But she couldn't figure it out! Squinting comically, moving her head in jerky, clownish ways, she screamed, -"AH HAZ FOUND IT! I KNEW YOU LOOKED DIFFERENT!" The male had no eyes! She never meant in in an offensive way and the she-wolf's jaws opened as she let her tongue roll out as she panted, her tail waving crazily. Without waiting for a response and being blunt as ever she asked happily, - |
[/b]"What's YOUR name! Mah name's ILLYRIAN!"[/b] She said the last part with immense pleasure. She waited for what seemed like forever. All knowledge that this was a foreigner escaped the she-wolf, it was as if she was having a conversation with a new packmate or such. Okay crazy dude, say Hi! Where were you,
'Where were you; when everything was falling apart? All my days were spent by the telephone that never rang and all I needed was a call, that never came to the corner of First and Amistad. Lost and insecure, you found me. You found me lyin' on the floor surrounded, surrounded. Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you? Just a little late, you found me; you found me. In the end, everyone ends up alone. Losing her, the only one who's ever known; who I am, who I'm not, who I wanna be. No way to know how long she will be next to me. Lost and insecure, you found me. You found me lyin' on the floor, surrounded, surrounded. Why'd you have to wait? Where were you?'
[/blockquote] Just a little late,
"ILLYRIAN." His voice boomed through the trees of the Southern lands. Brock was almost tired of the crazy female, but a member was a member and Illyrian helped no matter what. But sometimes he felt like she needed someone to drag her down to a hopefully close-to-the-norm level. He walked slowly though the finally border of trees to the clearing, there was where a young male stood. He was nor more than three years by the looks of it, his coat a shaggy brown and his eyes a milky colored green.
The feeling of recognition crept through Brock's mind, but he could not exactly put his thoughts to it. He stared the male, his wings folding gently behind his back. Something about him seemed familiar; his aura seemed calmed but nervous. It seemed to dawn onto him like a rock crushing a bug. He stepped one foot back, "Windbreaker...?" He would be ready for an attack if there was one. Ready to shoot up in the sky with Illyrian. But what chances where there that this was the wolf who was born blind? The brother to his greatest enemy, who had been away for almost two years now.
The news had traveled fast, through many forests and pack. That had been the Southern pack's goal; if everyone was made into an enemy of the North- then they had allies. Only recently had the lost Efron to that pack, and Eyolf had only described his own encounter with a Northern seducer just a day or two before that. The Northern tramp. Moonrunner had some top of the line ideas, but this was a war now.
Brock would never lose to that madness. You found me.

W I N D B R E A K E R His ears slammed flat against his skull while the pup dive-bombed him. his muzzle turned upward to the sky. He hadn't checked there- last he knew, there were only a select few wolves with flight, or sky-walking- one of wich was his sister, and he easily recognized the scent as being that of a Southerner.
At the booming voice, his own ears pricked forward, his head turning gently to a side. "Brock?" he responded, muzzle raised. The male was large now, and smelled of something milky- pups?
A smile crept upon the male's face, his paws sliding down into a bow-like stance. "I can't belive it's you!" he cried, leaping through the air, tail erect and wagging furiously. He remembered his old friend very well. He had been closer to Brock than anyone else in the pack- besides Moonrunner, even if Brock didn't realize it at the time. "How ARE you?" he questioned, regaining his composure, and carefully perching upon his paws just a few feet away, after getting a lick or two onto the opposite male's cheek.
"You smell different." he added, sly smirk replacing the pup-like grin. "Almost... Almost like pups. I'd like to assume this..." He nudged a paw in Illyrian's direction "Is not your mate."
Yes, they had more serious things to speak about, but for now, Windbreaker was only concerned with getting back in touch with his old companion. ((I hope it's okay I assumed some stuff about their past. If not, go ahead and tell me. c:))

| At the call of her name came out of no where it seemed, the female harshly recoiled, whimpering, her ears flicking back to the back of her head and her golden eyes dimmed for a moment, perhaps in hurt. She backed away and down, her tail curled around her and her head bowed, her eyes downcast, she looked remarkably like a scolded puppy. She might as well have been. The voice was very recognizable, obviously, considering it was from the Alpha. When the female wasn't hyperactive or saying YAY!, and she sobered up some, she could be thoughtful, if not sensitive. It was if Illyrian's natural state was hyper-drive 3000, dashing to and fro like a pup, her eyes crazed with an uncanny delight. The female didn't have a very 'serious' side, but she had a 'somber' side, where she could listen to reason and think like an adult. But it wasn't too common of the winged wolf to act in that state. She saw Brock approach, and she shied away, her eyes looking awry from the form of the male as she muttered out, -"Sorry Brock..." She knew Brock probably got at his wits end having to deal with 1. Being Alpha, 2. The Northern pack, and 3. His mate and pups (Not necessarily annoying she'd imagine, but a job nonetheless.), and 4. Her sheer hyperactivity and sometimes, outright stupidity. No the she-wolf reconsidered with a sorrowful expression, I'm not exactly important enough to be number 4... Of course, she was being over dramatic, but the green and blue wisped female was ruled by her heart and emotions, which changed at the drop of a hat.
Meh, maybe the loner isn't mad at me, I should say sorry! Brightening up once more as she broke her reverie, the she-wolf looked on in wonder as the two males had a conversation. She wasn't that dumb, and now actually being rather observant, the speedy female realized with a start that the two males seemed to actually know eachother. She smiled with grace at that. Two friends seeing each other again, that was always good, YAY! Then the blind male's face became plastered with a smirk and gestured at her. "Of course not, silly billy! I'm not his mate, his mate is A-," - exclaimed Illyrian at Windbreaker, but then she realized she nearly gave vital information about the pack away and silenced immediately. She flinched her head away with an eye closed almost painfully, expecting another reprimand from Brock. She looked at the ground and flicked one blue-tipped ear and said somberly, -"Never mind, sorry for that, and sorry to you," She flicked her silky tail at Windbreaker "for comin' up randomly like that," The mopey female head hr head in shame, wanting to sneak away and cry her feelings out.
I feel guilty...
