The alphess watched as the naama ran off, sincerely wishing she hadn't had to run him off. Kairos was right though, he would only produce a burden for them, and they had to guard what precious little resources winter lent them with all they had, especially with the soon-to-be new members of the pack currently developing inside of her. She didn't like it, but she was at least mature enough to know that not all alpha duties would be pleasant. It was a regrettable thing that she just did, but it was necessary. Ayria sighed and then trotted along the borders of the area, marking it and claiming the land for the southern pack.
