*Ellis Still a tad shaken up from the Southern pack, Ellis trotted along the outskirts of the basin, and into the lonely treeline. There were plenty of scents that greeted him, a few of them wolf.
As the trees grew thicker, the snow grew thinner, and the male found it easier to move. He was still uneasy- he managed to get out of the basin without a scratch, but he still had to traverse the Western pack, and receive information from them.
Again, he did not request permission to enter, and kept his head down, expecting to see another wolf. This time, he found it easier to see where wolves were, and where the dangerous ones were.
Carefully, he crept upon one strange feeling, a direction that led more toward the heart of the woods.

| She and her white coat blended in with this landscape beautifully, the North Arctic native was in her element. Renaissance's golden bracelets with hearts jingled ever so lightly around her ankles as she walked to the edge of Western territory. She had caught the scent while trying to find some prey, no matter how measly in this wintery landscape, and she decided it was best to deal with it right now. She felt it necessary to assert their presence in the land and she hoped Xane would not take offense at her confronting the loner. Her white paws leaving light tracks in the thin snowfall on the ground, her crimson eyes found a wolf's form: the intruder. She started into a trot.
This one seems... different than the others... Renaissance's Empathy gave her a hint of the male's possible intentions. He seemed uneasy, but purposeful. And that set her on slight alert, evident by her perked ears and brightened crimson eyes. She approached and stood a few feet from the loner, her larger than average fangs peaking out from her jaws. Her eyes showed no sympathy, but no particular dislike of the male, simply an old wariness. She knew she only need a simple call to beckon someone else here to assist her, and even then she felt no fear. Her scarlet eyes locked onto the male's and she spoke firmly an directly to the point, -"What business do you have here loner?" She hoped it was simply routine, but something told her she might not be that lucky...
Well let's see...
