Moonrunner + Ellis
He had noticed strange things about himself during the past few weeks settling into the wild places. Like... How he had started to grow into his paws, and out of puppy-hood. How his voice was booming when it didn't need to be, (he discovered he had this power one lonely day with some of his other pack mates... Nearly woke up the entire valley on accident...) though he still had not noticed the playfull, navy-blue swirls making their way from the tips of his ears, down the back of his skull.
But most importantly, he noticed strange things about Moonrunner. For instance, the way she treated everyone in the pack exactly the same. There was no Omega, there were just members. Everyone got 'Rations' she'd called them, when the pack made a kill, (Though normally it was a sickly deer.) In a twisted, sinister sort of way, it was almost as if she actually cared weather or not her pack survived the upcoming winter months.
What concerned him, was her intentions. Was she doing it for numbers? Or was she doing it out of the kindness of her heart?
Something told him the latter was nearly impossible.
She trotted into the clearing, where snow had begun to accumulate upon the ground, glistening gently in the light. "Gaellis." she addressed quickly, her eyes narrowing slightly.
He detested her blind eye. It was almost as if she could look into one's very soul.
"Call the pack. We have matters to discuss."
That was all he was useful for, it seemed- to raise is slender muzzle to the heavens, and emit a howl he was sure echoed all the way to the other three packs. Though this time, he noticed a sense of urgency in Moonrunner he hadn't previously noticed. He did as he was ordered. He wasn't too sure if the female was panicking, or if she just wanted to get their meeting over with.
"What's wrong?" he murmured lightly, attempting to console the female, gaze scanning the tree line for any wolf due to appear.
