{ooc; the white italitcs and black italics are Enigma’s telepathic thoughts.}
No, that rabbit’s mine. She sent the thought directly to the male named “Ricochet,” after lacing it with a grave sternness.
The two-headed, elaborately designed she-wolf had just emerged from the nearby woods after listening in on the two rogue’s conversation. The one called “Tag” sounded as silly as his name, whearas Ricochet seemed like a pleasant enough wolf. Pleasant to Enigma, anyway; she liked the ones that were a little rough on the outside, the ones who could take sarcasm as well as give it. But I like Tag better, White whined to her darker half, who was also known as Black. Shut up, White. Haven’t you learned yet that you like everyone? Come on, let’s see what these two males are up too. White only whimpered in reply, submitting to the authority of the darker colored half.
Enigma strode forward, her smooth, precise movements like that of a great cat’s. She crossed over the meadow’s grassy grounds and pulled to a stop only feet from the pair of males. Enigma looked each strongly in the eye; Black’s burning red gaze was calculating and skeptical, whereas White’s purple-tainted look was more… curious.
Black broke off her gaze, which had just been analyzing Ricochet’s magnificently colored eyes, to glance down at the rabbit that lie in a furry lump on the ground. Speaking this time, Black addressed the amber-brushed male. “I stalked that rabbit first, therefore it is rightfully mine.” An expression somewhere between haughty and sly emerged on Enigma’s two faces. “In fact, you can see where my tooth cut its ear,” she said, nodding toward the rabbit’s limp body. “So,” Enigma stepped closer, eyes locked with the swirling colors in Ricochet’s gaze. Her voice softened, but some how it made it sound even more menacing. “It’s. Mine.”

I can communicate with those not of my kind. With someone like me.His neck hairs twitched as twig crawled across them. "Little guy moves around a lot..." he smirked. He noticed something was clouding his friends mind. He wondered what it was, he would only pester if he was willing to tell him. So with that note, he decided to leave it at that.
Once his friend had returned back to earth, he mentioned leaving where they were. He nodded and went to pick up the rabbit that he had caught, getting ready to leave. "Someone please tell me I'm not seeing double..." he heard a commotion from his new companion. He wasn't sure what he said, but it sounded like his attention was fixed on something. Tag looked up to examine what was going on. Once he noticed, the rabbit tumbled out of his mouth. 'Two headed wolf!? How in the world did that happen!?' 'Two headed wolf!? How in the world did that happen!?' they were both wide eyed as they thought the same thing.
He rubbed his shoulder against ricochet to prepare him for the new visitory. The new wolf strolled down the hill to where they were at. I know there is more I need to learn. Maybe one day our words will become one.

"What the..."Ricochet cursed most unpleasantly as a new voice entered his mind. Obviously by telepathy. He had met a pup once who had had the power and after a while it got quite annoying to have new thoughts constantly projected into his mind. 'No, that rabbit's mine.' A two headed she-wolf, or should he say, she-wolves, strode forward. He felt Tag rub his should up against him and instantly felt a bit disturbed. Tag was friendly male by heart, he had learned that himself, but this was something even his white furred friend was a bit startled by.
In reality the female was a bit startling. Looking more like a bad mix of a zebra and a wolf than anything. The darker side seemed stronger and especially more bold, and therefor dominate, over the lighter side of the wolf. Two set of eyes red and purple stared at him and Tag; but the purple seemed unwanting to be even near them. His eyes locked with the red set and the female spoke, saying that the rabbit was hers. Never would Ricochet give up his prey. To him it seemed like a sign a wolf was weak if they would give up prey. He rose boldly to the 'challenge' and took confidence form the rub of comfort and nervousness by his friend. A soft and warning growl escaped the male's lips and his red tinted teeth started to bare,
"Yours my butt."
Ricochet would not give up this rabbit, and his pride, easily.

”Yours my butt!” At that Enigma couldn’t help but burst out laughing. Both heads giggled at the sheer hilarity of the statement. But Enigma found Ricochet’s response pleasing as well as funny; it was good to know that at least one of the rogue males had the guts to stand up for himself. With some efoort Enigma swiped the smiles off of her two faces, although both sets of eyes went on laughing. “Fine, you may keep it, then.” Black said it as if she was doing the wolves a great favor.
Enigma stepped back to allow Ricochet some space to breathe. White’s eye then caught sight of the blob of fur crawling around on the paler one, Tag’s, back. Oooh, look Black! He has a squirrel! Black glanced over, surprised to see that what she had thought was a brown fur marking was actually a living creature. It’s a chipmunk, White, Black sneered. It must be his companion! White yipped in response.
Speaking up, Black directed her gaze to the owner of the chipmunk. “Say, you aren’t an animal whisperer, are you?” There was a good chance that Tag had simply hired someone to give him the companion, but if Tag himself had the gift… Well, then Enigma was interested. “Can you give me one?” White blurted out, but a quick growl from Black silenced her. Black hated it when her other half spoke out of turn.

I can communicate with those not of my kind. With someone like me. Tag was still a little speechless by the two headed Wolff aywas before them. Twig was too, "hey... Paper... What is that?" he crawled around his neck and on his muzzle. Wanting to get a closer look. "Get back, it's rude to stare like that!" he snapped. Of course the sudden movement scared his little companion so he scurried to the width between his shoulder. "Excuse my friend" he smiled. He bowed his head in greeting, now he was over the fact that the female had two heads.
The more upfront female asked him about him begin a whisperer. Although he was new at it, and still wondering himself if he was, he just nodded. Knowing that he had just met his new friend by accident. The other she wolf bursted out with excitement, but the one who seemed to be more in control out and end to it. Apparently, he had already figured the two out. "I am, it is a newfound ability that I have recently discovered..." he decided to just go with the flow. I know there is more I need to learn. Maybe one day our words will become one.

It was hard for the strong willed male like Ricochet to relax after the female had presented herself like so. Walking up and demanding his rabbit. Psh. She was lucky her hide was still intact with her body after she had made such a daring move like that. In truth, though, it was nothing to daring, but rather only in Ricochet's eyes. Or in that case, any male that knew how to stand up for himself.
Years of abuse from his brother had taught him better than any mother or father. Standing up for himself was something the male had learned to do, along with controlling himself to a untrusting calamity. This was his major downfall now. No trust in sight. This female put him on edge and he did not like it. Not that she had two heads made it any easier.
His unique, red, green, and yellow eyes stared without a blink at the black side of the female. He didn't like it. The black reminded him a little too much of Disteldo. That was all his brother had ever done to him anyways. Abuse and taunt him. The exact same this female was doing to her white side. He grabbed the rabbit, still staring at the black side, and turned around and started a few steps farther away from her before sitting in the most impolite manner towards her.
"I was never asking your permission to keep my kill. And trust me, Sweetie, I never will."
A cocky and taunting smile came over the males face as his oddly colored eyes burned with anger and frustration, barely keeping his tongue from saying so much more that he was thinking, knowing he would probably come to regret it if he didn't.

Tag responded to Black’s question with a somewhat reluctant “yes.” Enigma considered talking him into giving her a companion- a bird or a bat, perhaps. White screamed “do it!” into Black’s mind, but the darker she-wolf denied her other half’s request. White was enough of a companion- yet another entity to talk to and control would only be an inconvenience.
At his words, Enigma turned her attention back to Ricochet. She noticed he had made a conscious effort to tick her off by stepping further back. But Enigma only mirrored his insolent smile, both pairs of eyes sparking with silent laughter. “Take a chill pill, Ric,” Black cooed, while White nodded exuberantly. “Yeah, Ric, just relax,” she yipped.
Black shot her other half a quick glare, and then lifting her head high, she encompassed both males in her steely, red gaze. “So, what are you two males doing out here? Looking to pick up some girls?” White licked her muzzle to keep herself from laughing.

I can communicate with those not of my kind. With someone like me. He tilted his head with curiosity. Did the female only want to know of his power, and that's it? Strange, he figured a passerby would want to take advantage of the situation and claim a companion of their own. Maybe she didn't care, seeing as she already had one. Or was it the other way around. "Quiet a strange creature... How did that end up being born with two heads?" he smiled when a flutter of squeaks sounded out next to his ear. He still didn't catch quiet what his little friend had said, but seeing that he was looking at the two headed wolf, he figured it was about the new visitor. Now, don't underestimate the curiosity of tag. He had quiet a few questions himself about the strange appearance, but he would only ask if the female had brought up the opportunity.
Returning his attention back to reality, the she wolf in control questioned what they were doing. They were doing different things before they had met up, he was exploring and his bachelor friend was hunting. So what were they doing now? About to head home, but now since the she wolf had entered in that moment, that time was postponed. He chuckled to himself when the thought of finding mates was brought up. Not quiet yet, he hadn't an interest at this very moment. But he wasn't sure about ricochet. "Just enjoying the afternoon, really," he answered in a suave tone, "I was exploring, and he was hunting..." he went off to finish explaining.
Now, since that question was answered, he could move onto more important matters. But the wolves were still there, so learning about his new power would have to wait. "And I could ask the same of you ladies. What brings you to the hillside?" he smiled politely. It was never in his nature to act crude to a female. Even if she was trying to take his dinner,
I know there is more I need to learn. Maybe one day our words will become one.

A deep glare was shot to the black and then very angerly twords the white. It was official. Now he didn't like either of them. Ricochet especially did not like the nickname name Ric. To him, after being called by his full name for just about forever, it sounded plain stupid.
"Yea what brings you to the hillside?" He said after Tag, mocking the whites eagerness to please her black side. Ricochet then quietly threw the other half of the rabbits remains to Tag. This was their normal. Ricochet would hunt and Tag would take half the same would go the other way around. Plus, Tag would help to deal with other wolves. Specifically others like Enigma and Illyrian, a female they had met in the past. A little too hyperactive for his tastes.
The female was thinking about them looking for mates? Well deffinatly not in her. That was, for sure, not going to happen. At least not on his watch. Ricochet stood tall and boldly, mostly in protection for his smaller friend. It was hard to believe looking at the males that, in fact, Tag was older than Ricochet. It was not as obvious than most wolves show in age difference.

Just enjoying the afternoon, eh? The thought rang in both heads, and for some reason they both found it somehow funny. But while White was content to pass the rest of the day in light-hearted merriment, Black had differing plans. Her blood red eyes, with white markings like scars slicing through them, read both males like books. Tag seemed relatively unbothered by her presence, at least in comparison to “Ric” – who apparently did not take well to his new nickname. But Enigma liked it (or was it rather the male’s displeasure that she enjoyed?) so she showed no signs of stopping.
“Mainly that rabbit, Ric,” Black said in reply, her tone remarkably similar to Tag’s. “And perhaps mere curiosity… I do like to know who’s roaming around these woods.” Now Enigma’s interest was satisfied, and she would be sure to recognize the scent of these two should they cross paths again. And that one’s eyes, White commented teasingly, her eye on Ricochet. Black’s lips upturned in the faintest smile. Reviving her telepathic abilities, Enigma projected her thoughts into Ricochet’s mind. Too bad we couldn’t get along. I have a feeling we could have been good friends. We aren’t as bad as you may think.
“Well, I better go, boys. Have fun.” As Enigma turned, White shot Tag a quick telepathic message, Good luck out there, and stay cute, my dear! As the striped and two-headed wolf headed back into the dark forest, one could see Black’s ears twitching warily and her body tensing in the grip of suspicion. This constant edgyness could easily be labeled as paranoia, but for Black this was a way of life.

"Whatever you think Sweetheart."
The male had a sarcastic grin on his face as he spoke the words. There was no doubt that one of them had sent something to Tag too. But that was not his business to impose.
A crafty male Ricochet might have been. But he new better than to stick his nose into others business. Something about the female spooked him though. It made him wonder what her childhood had been like because she was so different. Had been like his..? Demanding? Hurtful? A pained memory scarred in a brain? That had been his. Ricochet was lucky he wasn't dead right now. Ricochet was lucky to have even been suckled by his mother. Ricochet was unlucky to have been the runt. A small pup who had such a slim chance of living that he should have been killed. But his father had protected him. His father had protected him up until the day he died.
The male had a feeling that everyone had a sob story from some point in their lives. His had just been worse. A seed had been planted in his heart. This seed had came to define Ricochet and bring out the real him. His only worry is that it might, if cornered..
Destroy him.
