'Well isn't this the most beautiful place on the face of this stupidly forgotten side of the Earth.' A frustrated wolf stopped and cursed for the millionth time under his breath as he took in the scenery. This was the most classic outcast territory he had ever stood on. A piece of crappy land that no prey would ever want to run on; And being on that subject, neither did he. But an outcast was someone who no one wanted. The piece of bad meat on a carcass that is left for crows to fight over. Something that no one would ever want to love. But to look at Ricochet like that was not usually something a pack could do very easily. He was a younger male, about four and a half, with a well muscled body, long and powerful legs, and fluffy coat. Who could ignore his cocky but sweet grin and those stunning eyes? No one could! He was the perfect mate! But no one could also ignore the curse that followed him either. Some were dead because of it. He was someone everyone wanted to love- but never could.
But this place would be different. He hadn't killed a thing by accident in weeks. It was weird, some would be proud that they hadn't bitten their nails in weeks and others would be joyful because they hadn't said one hurtful comment in weeks, while he was just happy because he hadn't accidentally killed something. The irony in Ricochet's life was the normal. Building on top of his ironic life Ricochet had grown into a sarcastic jerk half of the time. But he wasn't all bad on his good days and he wasn't all good on his bad days; If you know what I mean.
Digging his claws into the dirt he cursed one more time and started to stumble down the rickety and disgusting slope to the muddy ground below. Landing with a thump on the hard ground he scanned the forest floor. Great. Just the place. From down here Ricochet could see little to none of where he was going. This day seemed to be getting better and better from his perspective. He didn't like this new place at all. Oh how he longed to go back to before all the stuff happened. Before his parents betrayed him. Before Disteldo became violent. Before when he still had Anna. But those thoughts clouded his mind and so he quickly shook them away. "This place will just have to do I guess."

After walking around for days. He felt like it was his time to take a break. He is in a place where wolves with no packs reside. It wasn't the most flourishing piece of land, but it was better than the fake snow and make shift icebergs in the conservatory room. It had been a couple days since his last meal. It wasn't much, just a few rabbits. But for all the running, jumping and walking he's done. His appetite is strong once again. He made his way to a place with grass a scarce trees. It may not be a place for squirrels and tree rodents, but ground rodents are a yes. He put his nose to the ground and took in a few long draws into his nostrils.
There were rabbit and ground squirrel around. But where at, he had to watch for them patiently. It wasn't long before he had found a plump rabbit. He steadied himself for a quick attack and snack. He bolted after it, and it brought up quiet the chase. But he was just a tad faster. The rabbit dangled from his mouth, lifeless. He felt proud for the easy catch, at least he could go another day or so. Until then he wanted to find a place to relax. And these sad excuses for trees were not what he had in mind.
He walked down an unmarked trail and sensed another presence nearby. He looked around and saw a wolf sliding down a muddy hill. He grimaced, if it were him he'd find the nearest body of water. No mud for his powder white coat. He sat and watched as the stranger wolf decided to settle himself there. He's been rather alone since his departure months and months ago. Maybe it was time he made an acquaintance.
He walked through the trees that were just across the way from the wolf. He was perfectly visible from where he stood, he tried to make himself seem like a non threat, so he sat out, "welcome to the outer lands of the packs..." he introduced.

As a new male spoke, Ricochet, was, at first, startled. He had not noticed the other male, being too busy with trying to find his way. But being on the ground it wasn't quite as hard to see. No trees to block his view from down here. Or wind to blow his fur in his eyes. Nor too many smells to distract him. Just a very few leafed scraggly bush and a couple pine trees here and there with one large oak aside from the rocky edge he had just slid down. Along with the strong scent of the forest he was stumbling around like a toddler. But what was this male doing here? Didn't look like one to be an outcast. But then agian, no outcast really did. Most were just like him. Stuck in the middle of living, fighting, dying, or just plain dead. The other male's fur was a very clean and pristean white with his lightly colored blue eyes. They were interesting but where not quite as bold as Ricochets green and yellow ones.
"Why hello there."He replied with one eyebrow raised. It wasn't very often that a wolf would just make himself known. But maybe he should befriend the older male. Heavens knows that he could come in handy if he had been here a while.
"May I ask who you are?"It was a pretty blunt question, but insisted on an answer. Every question needs and answer, or 'asks' for one. But the tone in which you 'ask' for something or about something can truly make a question a question. A lighter playful tone is sweet- but you know you'll get an answer when you as with a firm tone and real meaning. A few steps forward and he sat down, at least a meter or two, away from the white wolf. A couple more questions came to the younger males head. One in perticular that made him wonder. 'How does he keep that white coat so clean?' But then agian, that question could wait just a little longer.

He watched as the wolf made his way closer to him. He smiled and dropped the rabbit in front of the new wolf. "Here, eat up, I can wait a couple more days before I can eat. You look a little hungry" he nudged the rabbit closer. "I'm Tag. I came from the arctic lands. But I was captured as a pup to be in a conservatory project... " he explained. He wanted to form some sort of companionship so he wouldn't be so alone. It was hard on him. "I've escaped some time ago when me and my siblings were going to a different conservatory room. I escaped out of the truck..." his ears flattened when he remembered the injuries he has gotten from it. The scars on his back tingled when he thogut of the barbed wire fence.
"I'm one of your above average friendly wolves. In case you hadn't noticed", he smiled and his tail slightly thumped against the ground. Proud of his introduction to the new male. He may or may not form some sort of relationship, but he is always glad he tried.

Looking at him Ricochet really started to wonder about this new male Tag. He seemed sorta friendly. Well, no, extreamly friendly. It kinda creeped Ricochet out a bit at first. But this male did have food and seemed to know the lands, so he could help possibly. "Thanks."Ricochet said, smiling the best he could with his a little bit off grin. Happy as a lark to get something other than the small mouse he had caught earlier. Mice were not his favorites at all, the male preffering a lean old moose or small rabbit.
"My name is Ricochet by the way, I came from a bit up north too. My brother ran me off." That of course was only half the truth. It was the whole pack, not just his jerk of a brother. But a white lie here and there was something Ricochet tended to do every now and then. Most wolves would trust him since he was normally honest and wouldn't know a thing when he lied. A bite of the rabbit and Ricochet was in heaven, but still on Earth as he kept a trusting, but at the same time, weary eye on Tag.

Wind in her face once more, Illyrian descended down from her most recent frenzy in the sky she called flight. This was not where she wandered normally, but she was an explorer! Her eyes were always wide at the amazing sights she saw from both in the forest and above in the air. Illyrian contemplated whether or not she should get used to it by now. She just cracked a crazy smile and decided no. Their was no getting used to it, just the way she liked it. she had recently eaten, so her appetite was satisfied and she was bored: which is why she happened to be wandering by herself down an unknown, muddy trail, her paws rapidly turning form whitish to wet brownish. Her huge wings folded onto her back, the wispy coated female still had a million thoughts zipping around in her head, eyes wide and alert, happy, when she caught the scent to the west of her of two males. A slight shock went through her, down her spine, and her ears raised up in excitement.
Normally I don't do this, considering my status... But perhaps it would be fun to check it out, these wolves. And if I get in trouble, no problem, hopefully I'll just be able to fly away. Ideally she'd fly away. If she were even one bit more sensible she's realize she'd be too tired to take flight in the event of danger. But this is one optimistic wolf here were talking about, and usually, Illyrian realized something didn't work at the moment she needed it most. Not exactly good. But the female shook her shaggy coat and headed off to the west, padding at a fairly fast pace, as usual for her. Her Speed made her used to this and she hated to go slow, life didn't wait, neither would she. Sniffing the wind again as she was accustomed to surely by now, she bounced slightly in exuberance at the knowledge she was sooooo close to them now, the two males. She wondered for a brief moment if they were hostile, it was possible.
Ever since I've gotten here, I haven't seen another wolf, or at least a friendly one... Always better on the other side! Never one to think negatively for long, Illyrian broke into another maniacal grin as she closed in on the scent, strong it was. She shook her white coat, dappled with blue and green markings, readying herself. Bursting through the bushes without a second thought, she looked with friendly golden eyes at the two males. She cocked her head in wonder, quickly buzzing in her head what could happen or in questions she should ask. She decided to aks a simple question to begin with, hoping her rude interruption wouldn't cost her their hospitality. "Hi! My name would be Illyrian, sorry for barging right on in, just excited! Sorry! What are your names, both of you?" She asked ebulliently.
Ooh! Here we go! Let's hope this goes good, and maybe make some nice new friends!

Tag took a step back, feeling he like his friendly level should lower. Sometimes he felt like was a bit too friendly. He sat sown and looked around, "your brother ran you off? Sounds rough... I grew attached to my mother when he had to live in exhibit together... Then she died. And she told me to run away, so I did" he knew being a wolf that had to live the majority of his life in captivity wasn't one of his brighter things to say. But since being out on his own, he has learned quick what to do and what not to do.
His stomach growled slightly, but he ignored it. Being able to share was a good way to form packs. Or at least a sad excuse for one. And he didn't have a problem with it. He had to share everything in the exhibit. The humans didn't always feed them the right amount.
As the scent of a female neared. He looked around and heard rustling. When she popped out of her hiding spot, he slightly pushed of his left paw. He was surpassed, but he sure didn't show it. He smiled slightly, "my name is tag..." he introduced.

OOC: Just a bit distracting to me Sandie lol. Do you mind removing it? I get distracted too easily haha....
"Sorry about that."The younger male mumbled in a bit of kindness. It was hard for any wolf to accept the death of another wolf, pack member, parent, sibling, pup, or mate. No one of the wolf kind enjoyed the pain of another. Even enemies sometimes were pained by seeing another wolf hurt. Especially under the hard hand of a human. He nudged the rest of the rabbit to Tag as Ricochet spotted an approaching female. It was a non-verbal way of saying "Eat the rest before she tries to."
Quite loud the female was. Rude too. What a way to get into someone's conversation. She had extreamly large wings that Ricochet had only previously seen on one other wolf and a differently colored coat than his self. "My name is Ricochet and this is Tag. I suggest you calm down if you want to make friends." The words were a little harsh, but not much for the entrance she had just made before them only moments before.

As kind as he usually was. He was also hungry. He started to eat through the rest of the rabbit. He didn't mind sharing. But there was also the extent of what his stomach could live off of. He did have to agree, she was a bit obnoxious as she introduced herself. His ears flickered in different angles as the emotions rushed through. She was excited, but ricochet was not. And as for tag? He felt indifferent. He wasn't a fan of loud noises, and her voice was exactly of that sort that rung in his ears. "Nice to meet you..." he simply replied as he finished his half of the rabbit.

(No problem about losing the template for now, Shanto, sorry for being late. ) If only she hadn't burst in, perhaps it would not feel as awkward to Illyrian. But this was Illyrian and she felt fairly fine, even if mentally she knew it wasn't the best thing to do. Her ears flicked slightly at the one male, Richochet, words. Eh, not too harsh, there's been worse in her short little lifetime. The other male, who had a clean, white coat, and appeared as if eating. She wasn't hungry, she'd eaten only a few hours ago and she suspected that old man hunger wouldn't creep on her just a little while. The male known as Tag introduced himself in what she thought was just a bit unenthusiastically. After taking in her surroundings, the sights, the smells, and feelings, she began to calm down, only if a little. "Okay, well hi Ricochet, Tag. Just scented you in the area and thought I might say hello...," - She stumbled out. She felt uneasy next to the male Ricochet, she didn't know why, but he gave her a bad vibe, as if 'stay away'. But her curiosity wouldn't let her, she didn't trust her intuition much these days half the time. Tag seemed a layed backed wolf to Illyrian, but y' never knew. She bounced her weight between her right and left paws awkwardly, not knowing if she should take flight, even if she was still tired form her last one, and be safe, or take the risk and stay. She'd take the risk, oh well, still, a chance for new friends was still a glamorous idea to the enthusiastic wolf.

OOC: Skip Ricochet's turn this round if you don't mind.=]
The large male glanced at Tag, hopping the male would say something because the only comment he could think of was probably not the kindest.

Even though he had just met ricochet, he could already pick up on his personality and mood. And from what he would pick up, ricochet was quiet indifferent and irritated by the enthusiastic, peppy she-wolf. Personally, tag didn't mind too much. Maybe if she as a little more quieter he would warm up more to her. But he wasn't going to say anything, as it would be really rude.
"Sp what brings you to these parts Miss. Illyrian?" he didn't like the awkward air that swirled around the three wolves. So he had to lighten the mood somehow. Maybe this is the domino that would start the effect.

Illyrian smiled generously and genuinely over at the white male, Tag. At least he was being polite. She stopped her odd movements and tried to keep her wagging furry tail from moving to appear more reasonable, particularly to the male known as Ricochet. She didn't prefer to upset others, even if she sometimes had no idea why she upset them, given her blind and blunt attitude. Stretching her long limbs before responding, Illyrian turned her shining gold eyes onto the pristine white male. "Just came from...another pack," For a moment it almost seemed as if a slightly dark minded flash, so natural to her sunny personality, appeared on her face. But as fast as it appeared, it was gone. She continued calm enough for her, -"Certainly not a nice place to come from anyway, now I'm just, living on my own, I bet you might understand that in some shape or form," She smiled graciously, her white fangs just peeking through her jaws. Well, this was a start, with luck a full - fledged conversation would start off. Perhaps even Ricochet would start chatting in! the thought gave her hope and made her eyes shine just more brilliantly than before, with the type of childish enthusiasm, a blind faith that nothing could stop her.

He nodded and listened as she spoke of herself coming from a pack. Then she mentioned something bout them knowing the feeling of leaving. Most wolves would underestimate his skills if he told them he was in captivity for a while. Luckily, ricochet didn't feel that way. But he was unsure if he should tell her this. He actually came across a few wolves who didn't eve know what "captivity" meant. He just got lucky in those situations. He debated telling her his adventures, but he just smiled, "yeah, I know what's it's like to have to leave... I hated it. But I needed it at the same time" he smiled and looked up at the sky. Knowing his mother was smiling down on him.

Gracen crept through the forest, his warm chocolate brown eyes nervously surveying the forest. His jaws were slightly parted, scenting the air. He caught wind of a wolf. No, multiple. Three to be exact. They were close, if he walked upwind another twenty yards, he would be able to see them. He sighed. He might as well check it out.
He fell into a crouch and silently crept as close to the wolves as he could. Two males in a female. This was unusual, for loners to meet up in a group this big. Perhaps they were a group. If they were, it would be best for him to leave now. He took a step backward, feeling the crunch of a twig.
SNAP!
