[x] Silver paws carried the blood red brute further into the new terrain. Bright eyes flashed incandescent ruby with his mounting excitement. A malicious chuckle escaped his larynx as he darted further yet into the darkness. He had been travelling for three years now, not searching for a soul but living as only a free creature can. Elongated fangs gleamed against his silver fur as he grinned a grin the Cheshire would envy. His flesh tingled and crawled with the new sensations all around him, the emotions of creatures dwelling around him pricked at his senses but he ignored them, not wishing to feel the after-effects of exhorting his power. Syn wouldn't want to meet his new acquaintances in a flurry of disarray and irritation. No, that would not do!
[x] His tongue ran across the lethal points of the fangs, savoring the feeling of such a hazardous weapon. Swiftly changing eyes flew about the shadows, searching for even a moments entertainment. In the distance he spotted what appeared to be a canyon. The faint scents of previously inhabiting canines caught his attention and he immediately grinned once more. Oh what a perfect spot to start his journey here. As he moved his eyes zeroed in on a particular spot, his mind focusing on his powers. His flesh seemed to heat up, his body vibrated as if his very molecules were shaking. Instantly he felt himself dissolve into the particles of the surrounding air and reformed at the spot he had pictured. His muscles seemed to quiver and a slight bout of dizziness had the large male pausing to overcome the side effects of his travelling.
[x] Brilliant pools flashed around dangerously. That devilish grin never leaving his lips as he stalked forth, searching for another being. It wasn't his desire for company or conversation that drove him to look for another. No no no. Synyster was searching for his next meal. An insatiable lust for blood was what kept this brute moving on the trail of past scents. Now, he could settle for any old creature, but where's the fun in that? They're all unintelligible boors! Far too easy prey for him. He could not play with them properly then.
[x] A fresher scent caught his attention and immediately he surveyed the landscape. His eyes landed on a scouring form. The wolf appeared to be searching for something. Perhaps a rodent to sate their own hunger. Smooth as an oil slick he moved. The form took shape into a lovely sandy she-wolf. There appeared to be feathers sprouting near her ears, hanging down like extensions. Brilliant turquoise gems lined her face. What a beautiful beautiful creature. Ah, but as they say.
All beauty must die.
[x] The most sickening, horrifying grin masked his visage, easily surpassing the terrifying quality of his commonly used Cheshire smile. This disgusting creature swaggered up to the preoccupied vixen. Yes, he could easily kill her while she's distracted or have used his teleportation to appear beside her and get her before she had time to react. But that'd be defeating his purpose of searching for another intelligent wolf to 'congregate with'. She glanced up at his figure. He noted that her eyes were a brilliant shade of purple with what appeared to be electric blue sparking through them. Oh she is just so tempting in more than one way.
[x] Those vivid eyes surveyed him warily, making him momentarily wonder if she too could taste the emotions of her company as he can. By the puzzled expression on her face, he doubted it. Had she been able to, she would feel his ravenous hunger and absolute sadistic aura. No, instead she seen a vibrantly hued masculine approaching calmly. His breath came out in billows due to the arctic air. His patterned fur was thick enough that it hardly bothered him, but he was by no means immune to the cold. She, however, appeared to be. Her fur was not very thick and her build was not very big, yet she seemed to be perfectly at home in the icy temperature.
[x] He paused a decent distance from the vixen and gave a courteous bow before looking at her, his eyes a startling shade of gold. She seemed most wary of the fangs protruding from his upper jaw. He just gave her a wide grin before speaking. Syn's voice was smoother than silk, deep and sharp, eloquent, with a slight lilting accent. "Good evening, my dear. I couldn't help but notice you seemed to be searching for something. Food, perhaps?" She made no move to speak and eyed him skeptically, nodding her head in confirmation slowly. He just grinned a silver grin, sliding around her sinuously. "I figured such. I have easy means of acquiring food. I could aid you if, in return, you aid me." The skepticism never wavered, and he was impressed by her resilience, but he could see her interest was peeked with the mention of food. Oh yes, he can easily obtain food. She seemed to think it over, weighing her option. Finally she spoke, her voice as cold as ice and he could see crystalline flakes float from her lips. Ahh, so she was an ice or snow elemental. That does explain a lot. 'What is it that you need help with?' He could see the possibilities flying through her mind and he could not help but chuckle. "I only seek help in getting the food. Nothing more, nothing less." His eyes flashed white, displaying the truth of his words. Yes, he required her help in getting his food. Her.
[x] She took a moments thought before nodding in confirmation and turning to face him fully. He sent her a wink before moving smoothly back towards the woods, her light steps trailing his. Syn paused at the entrance and turned to face her for a final time. "I'd like to thank you for the assistance, and as promised, here is my part of the deal." A grin mirroring the sickening one from earlier broke the pleasant quality of his handsome features and his depths flashed to that of his desire. Blood. She noticed the change and Syn was immediately slammed with the the terror she was feeling. It made him so giddy to feel the adrenaline coursing through her veins mixed with his own. There was absolutely no hesitation in his motions. She made to defend herself with her chilly breath but she was not fast enough, hindered by her shock. His fangs found home in her vein and his mouth was flooded with her life force. No greater taste can compare with that of blood. The closest would be the flesh of his own kind. Yes, he not only a vampire, but a cannibal as well and once he was finished with her corpse, nothing would be left but the bones littering the ground.
[x] -skip the carnage- PG.13. He licked his bloodied lips, satisfied with the taste of her on his tongue. Absolutely marvelous. Placid blue chasms glanced at her remains. Bits of flesh, sinew, and tissue littered her skeleton. He had to eat around the gems that marked her bodice, rather unfortunately. With a content yawn he stretched out his being and shook out his fur, sending droplets of crimson spraying his surroundings. His silver paws and lips were tainted with blood, but he did not truly mind. Syn was still riding the high that was the kill. Her terror and pain, oh it was his ecstasy. With a chuckle he leisurely began to pace back to the canyon, not really caring where he ended up.
