La Chapitre Un The bells will jingle The crown will command But if one does not watch It will fall in the wrong hand [/font] "Dance for me, you fool!" the smell of his breath was tainted with wine. The place around his mouth had grease from the sloppy pig he had just eaten. Dinner time, a place for laughing and merriment with close royal friends. Oh, but of course, dinner isn't to die for until you see the fool. A young man jumped through decorated door. The door had purple and red satin curtains, this is his place of living. A ridiculous grin was slapped on his face. Bells around his ankles and wrists. He wore tights and a long male skirt. His shirt was long sleeved, but skin tight. His shirt bare the colors of purple and red, one side red the other purple. His skirt was the same, except the colors were switched from his shirt. To make an awkward moving checker board. And his tights were black; thank goodness it was winter. His shoes were light with thin souls, making it easier to jump around. And his hat had three lazy pillars that drooped over the sides of his head. Those colors are the same as well, one side red and the other purple. Anyways, back to the story, forgive me for my detail. "Dance for me, you fool!" he rung out. The young joker took no time to waist. He jumped and leaped around, his little bells mocking his movement. Very few steps or so he would stumble dramatically, forcing him to crash to the ground. Luckily every insignificant being here was drunk, making his job easier. He flailed around like a lost fish. He heard his king roar with laughter. "Alright you fool, that is enough! Return to your chamber!" the news he told was painstakingly said through the breaks of his annoying deep laugh. And as told, the young fool flailed away.
Now, who is this fool might you ask? Well let's meet him. Luckily we narrators are able to form into anything. In this case, we will be a floating glowing ball. And off we go.
"Excuse me, whom might you be?" which is what one ask with simple curiosity. The fool jerked his head, wondering who was there. A little ball danced around his head, "It is me, call me Nari" the ball introduced. Now, in these times of dragons and pixies, this is not strange. "A pixie, talking to a fool? This is odd..." he mumbled, "my name is Amadeus. And I am the royal fool. I dance, I sing, and I fall as the king commands. If I don't, I will be punished to the dungeon until he forgets I'm there..." the one called Amadeus explained. "Until he forgets? Doesn't this mean you will die?" the pixie questioned. Amadeus nodded, "it is the sad life of a royal fool..." he ended it with a sigh. The room was fairly large, well for a fool it was. A bed, a wardrobe closet and a lavatory. The color themes matched his outfit. Apparently the king was a fan of purple and red. "Why did you become a royal fool?" the question was asked. He turned with confusion, "why does one ask?" "Just a curiosity, I'm afraid I don't understand" "Ah, well I just love to entertain!" "I doubt that..." "Excuse me, pixie?" "Oh, nothing..." the short conversation ended. One knows more than being said, and the other not saying. "I must be going, I will see you soon, Amadeus" "Farewell, Navi"
Well, Amadeus is quiet the character isn't he? You know there is more to his desire to be here, don't you? I guess we will just have to find out more a little later. On to the next day, shall we?
Back into the room, same time the next day, he flops onto his bed. "Ah, Amadeus, you look tired?" the fool looked up to the sight of the pixie. "Navi? I didn't expect you to return..." he sighed with exhaustion. "What act did you have to do night?" "He had a party, I had to entertain the several guests that came" he sat up, realizing it would be easier to talk if he straightened his torso. "Sounds riveting" the pixie responded. A book was crammed under his matress, "what is that?" the pixie floated and danced next to it. Apparently it was important, as it had caused great alarm in Amadeus. He stood up and shooed the pixie away, stuffing it back under, "it is nothing, now go away!" it sparked the pixies interest. "Tell me, what can a pixie do? How about this, tell me and I will become your personal pixie... Not many humans have this opportunity, I suggest you take it" the offer was selling away the pixies freedom. The silence almost sounded like he would turn down the offer. But he spoke up, "my pixie? You can never leave. You will be bound to my aura... I will accept your offer" he finally concluded. In a snap, his mood had changed, into more serious matters. "This book is a nook of dark magic secrets from an old sorcerer I had encountered years ago. It hold great power that takes much practice to master... With this, I will dance for the king and be close. Thus giving me a quicker attack on his kingdom and take over" he certainly didn't hold back from telling his new pixie his plot. The pixie laughed, "I knew there was more to the story. This should make for quiet an interesting relationship, amadeus" luckily the pixie had arrived in time to experience this.
-Chapter end~ Amadeus and Navi are now aura bound. Next move, slow take over-
