Appearance: Elanora is a wolf with a coat as black as midnight. This darkness is the perfect canvas for swaths of deep blue, which cover her entire body. The more significant blue markings are on her face: a lovely blue patch over each eye, as well as an elegant blaze that streams down her forehead. The only ornament upon her body is a circular silver earring, which marks her right ear. Her eyes are a colorless grey, mimicking the cold hue of her earring. Now that we have the colors down, we will discuss the shape of the sculpture itself. Elanora is a wolf of average size, perhaps a bit on the small side but not petite. She is a wolf of fluid grace and motion, with a slim, sleek figure. Her head holds a narrow muzzle, and is topped with rounded, triangular ears. There is a slight silvering around her nose and mouth, which will likely increase as the years go by. The one last note that must be added is that Elanora has gills; yes, four small gills on either side of her throat.
Temperament: Elanora is a mysterious creature. She is standoffish in a crowd, sometimes turning sullen and uncooperative. It is difficult to keep her attention for long; her desires and thoughts seem to be always changing. In fact, Elanora’s personality quite resembles the water that she loves: always flowing, like a river, sometimes cold, like a stream, and carrying the elusive spark of beauty that brings a waterfall to life. The water is really where Elanora feels most at home. Every chance she gets, she will go off on her own for a swim. She also loves the wonders and the secrets of nature; how the seasons change, how the ground smells after it rains, how the beaver builds its own house out of wood.
History: Elanora was born to a dam named Celestial, and a sire named Torn. Celestial was a young, frivolous female that belonged to one of the larger, earlier packs. Torn was an oucast, a middle-aged rogue male searching for fame and fortune. Torn had lured Celestial away from the pack, and blinded by young love and recklessness she became pregnant. Shortly after the mating the pack caught on and drove Torn away, leaving Celestial to bear his pups. Celestial never spoke of it, but as Elanora grew up she heard the rumors and she felt the stares. She knew there has been much dispute over the halfblood pups; upon their birth the alpha even attempted to kill them. Thus Elanora was a bit of an outcast among her silbings and packmates, and although she was very much loved by her mother, she withdrew deeper within herself and learned to find her joys outside of the pack. She never felt sorry for herself, but she was always eager to leave her home-pack. As soon as she felt she was ready, she did just that. Elanora was probably too young to go off by herself, but she managed for several weeks until she stumbled upon the western lands.
