Appearance: Azula normally has black fur that occasionally has streaks of red flash through it before disappearing. This is a perfect representation of her inner emotions when she's not feeling anger, sadistic joy, or contempt. When she is angry, her fur tends to turn a stormy red that moves across her fur like liquid. Her joy is streaks of whitish grey swirling marks. Her contempt is an icy blue that she says represents her sou. Frozen over and untouchable.
Azula isn't a large wolf. She is of average size and has normal muscle mass. Her eyes are a deep amber that looks like dried blood in the right light. Her ability to sense heat is a help so she functions with something that resembles normalcy. She has the tip of her ear bitten off, a scar on her ankle, and a number of nasty scars on ehr sides and belly from the attack on her old pack.
Temperament: Azula isn't a "good" wolf. She doesn't bother about kindness and happiness when none has been shown to her. Well, there is no use trying to hide her cannibalistic nature. She enjoys the taste of wolf flesh with a passion, and won't hesitate to eat any that cross her path at a bad time, even pups.
She lives to fight, its in her blood. This she has more restraint with and can ignore partially. None can be pure evil, and have no positive traits. That would be unrealistic. Azula is brave and doesn't flinch in the face of death, yes she would swear and let her inner insanity show, but don't judge her too harshly. For those that earn her respect, they are far and few between, she will walk to the ends of the earth for and fight with her life to protect. No, family does not automatically get on that list. Blood means nothing. She respects strength, so an alpha or a large and powerful pack would earn be more likely to have her work for them. She's not the brightest in politics, or one for sneaking around, but she can fight damn well for a blind chick.
History: Azula was born in a small family pack in the middle of nowhere. She was born blind from birth. Her eyes weren't cloudy or white, they just didn't work. Her mother caught on to that and abandoned her to her father to get rid of. Dad didn't want to destroy his daughter without giving her a chance and started to raise her in secret. He taught her how to fight and survive without eyes. None, not even she knew about her uncanny ability to sense where things were. Everyone assumed it was from her ears and nose.
When she was one year old a famine hit. her family weakened while she ranged around in places she knew still held enough game for one wolf to survive on. She stayed strong and when she showed up at the pack den to challenge the alpha in his weak state, she was attacked by her mother. Mom was killed and her heart was torn out and eaten. The blood sent Azula in to a frenzy that took the lives, and hearts, of her siblings, father, and other family members. How she managed to beat them, she doesn't know. That piece in her memory is a blank page with flashes of red and a glimpse of the light dying in the eye of her victim.
She moved on after that and came to a land called Caiuka and settled there. She joined up with a pack, the Demon Horde, but they were sadly starting to die and she left them. She met up with a wolf named Goth, who later became the alpha of a slave pack named Nychita. She joined him once she heard word of it and became a warrior with relative ease. Her and a youth, who was also a cannibal, joined up when they were after the same quarry. A female and her three pups. Azula took one and killed it and the youth took care of one other pup and the mother. The remaining pup was trapped under the body of the mother and found later by the father. The father took the pup to his father, the alpha of a pack larger then any in the land of Caiuka and then led a raid against Nychita.
Azula hadn't stopped her killing there, however. She killed a pup in a pack allied with the large pack who joined in on the raid of Nychita and killed everyone. Azula fought in this and was almost killed, she saw the white light when she was saved by a healer after getting away. She ate the healer and then moved on. Calling herself the once killed after that to remember her history in Caiuka.
She appeared in Time and joined up with the Northern pack since they seemed the only pack that wasn't weak and useless, plus they were the first she smelled.
