-♦-"I'm tired of searching... I just want to sleep"-♦- Sabino. [/i] His paws skimmed on the ground. His small wings barely carried his body. In fact, even his own legs could barely travel any longer. He had been traveling for a little under a month now, and mostly at night. The times he slept were scarce. Maybe a couple hours a day. He was a pup, he needed his sleep! In fact, he shouldn't have even left his pack in the first place. He felt like a fool, and even if he had found his pack he wouldn't want to face them. He could only imagine the discipline. He could see them ridiculing him now. Being punished like and having to take it like a little girl. His nose wrinkled at the thought.
He let his wings come back to his thin body. He had finally reached the mainland of where this scent was carrying him. It was stronger and potent here. This must be their territory. And even with those few long seconds of his paws being on the ground, he felt his legs shake. His muscles were sore, his paws ached. His whole body ached. He couldn't take it anymore. His legs collapsed under him. "If any wolf finds me like this, I'm doomed!" he squeaked, he always kept himself moving in fear of being faced with a fight bigger than he should take on. If he got himself into this pack territory, maybe they would be more lenient on sparing his life as a pup.
He crawled on the ground to get closer to the territory. Rocks scraped his stomach and legs. He ignored the pain. As he had been taught to do before he left. A few more feet and he would achieve his goal. A new home. Maybe...
Before long he had crossed over into the new territory. But his abilities to stay awake had been burned out. Hopefully he will open his eyes soon. As opposed to never opening them again.

The blonde-and-navy wolf padded through the forest, leaves crunching happily below his paws. The rain still trickled from the heavens, though the hunting was good- especially if you could dig down like Ellis could.
Two rabbits rested, dead, buried behind a tree somewhere ahead of here, he remembered. Moonrunner would probably want one of them for dinner. Naturally, he understood the female's trouble hunting- only one good eye, and wings that seemed to catch on everything prevented the female from catching much, but a recent spar with the Alphess (mostly to practice his healing afterwards) proved she was still just as strong as ever.
A new, strange scent filled the air- a foreign pack, but not from the East, South, or West. It smelled... Almost... Alien.
Standing completely still, Ellis waited, watching the forest floor apprehensively, until finally, he spotted it in the distance- a purple lump. It was small, but wings sprouting from its back gave the wolf a strange sillouhette.
"Hey!" he called out, ears perked- what could this pup do? It was probably dead. "Heyyy! Get up!" Carefully he approached, his tail slowly wagging from side to side. This male reminded him of Cougar, to be completely honest, when he lured her from her own pack. "Wake up." he ordered, attempting to put on a tough face, gently prodding the pup with a paw.

-♦-"Never wake a sleeping pup!"-♦- Sabino. [/i] For a few moments the summer breeze gently ruffled his fur. It was relaxing, with what small patch of grass he had fallen on, he nuzzled himself in like he was sleeping with his sisters again. His sisters... He wondered what they are thinking right now. Did they miss him? We're they disappointed? All these questions buzzed through his small pup sized brain. And none of them could be answered for him. It bothered him. It had his whole journey to where he is now.
In his dream he revisited the day he stood up to hawk. He felt power surge through his small body. He had wished his sisters could have seen how he stood up to him from the start. From the time he stated his true name an how his eyes had changed. He wished they could have seen the look on hawks face as he witnessed the powerful purple pup at work. He just wished they could have seen it. It's funny, he was always more concerned about his sisters than his parents. He wondered why no one ever questioned that.
Unfortunately, his peace of mind was disturbed. He felt his body being touched. His heart began to race. If it was an enemy he needed to wake up. And now!
His eyes open wide. In an instant his fur rustled and he jumped to his paws in a quick motion. His eyes were deep blue. Which he found was an alerted and defensive color. He took several steps back. He stopped with his hind end held a little higher than his head. In case he needed to lunge forward.
A small, but deep growl came from his throat "who are you!" he demanded. Which, if he hadn't been so defensive, he would have remembered he came to their territory. He straighten himself out and let his fur lay again. He shuffled his paw into the ground, "my apologies sir..." he held his head low. As he was taught to do with his old home.

"Well good!" Ellis cried happily. "At least your parents raised ya right. C'mon, lil one. Let's go into the woods where you'll be safe n sound." he cooed, batting the pup's muzzle gently with a slender paw and a laugh. "You're lucky ya came about when ya did! I was jus' about to go to my den n everything before you came along. I'll give ya the grand tour- we got all types here. Moonrunner, our Alphess, doesn't turn no-one down." he explained, walking quietly towards the West, taking Sabino with him.
"My name is Gaellis, by the way. You can call me Ellis for short, just don' short'n it to 'El. I don' like 'El. El is a girl's name." he murmured, watching the pup with sparkling eyes. "And I ain't no girl." Pleased with his discovery of the young pup, Ellis wandered through the woods, to where he deposited two hare hours before. With ease, he lifted them in his muzzle, nodding ahead of them while they marched, side-by-side.
Eventually, the foliage overhead began to cluster thicker and thicker, less and less sun shining down through the ceiling of green. Ellis didn't mind it- he had a knack for climbing trees. They were getting closer and closer to the heart of the forest, where the Northern pack made their home.

-♦-"I hope I fit in here..."-♦- Sabino. [/i] He was curious about the wolfs behavior. He seemed cheerful that a strange wolf had come into his territory. But he didn't mind the hospitality. Not one bit. It was also strange that the wolf automatically took him in to the pack. So far, he was enjoying himself. Hopefully this will be his new home. He was tired of searching. He started walking away and he briskly picked up his pup paws to follow him. He didn't really know where they were going, but he honestly didn't mind. As the wolf was rather cheerful.
As they trudged through the forest he wolf went on to explain his name was Gaellis. He was glad that he shortened it to Ellis in the end. Then he went on to mumbled some words about "El" being a girls name. He chuckled lightly as he said he wasn't a girl. So far he thoroughly enjoyed meeting this, Ellis. He bounced along side of him as he picked up hares for the pack. He was easily getting comfortable around this wolf. He wondered what the alpha and alphess was like.
They began to get to a darker part of the forest. He made his way closer to the wolf- to Ellis. He was still tired of all this wandering, he hoped he would be able to get some decent sleep. He hadn't really spoken on their journey to the pack site. He lightly cleared his throat. Since Ellis had introduced himself, he figured he should do the same before he froze up infront of leaders. "My name is Sabino..." his voice was so child like. He didn't sound at all like he had earlier. As. He had calmed down and felt less defensive. His voice was scratchy and sweet, which would be the only way t describe it. "It's nice to meet you Ellis" his tail softly swayed left to right.

He dropped the hares to speak, as they approached a clearing where a few other wolves sunned themselves- most predominately, a black female. "Sabino, huh? You're like me. You ain't from 'round here, are ya?" Ellis offered a happy grin, taking a seat before the rocky hill where the female lay. She was a pretty female, with a well-kept coat, and a fat belly- much like the rest of her pack, spare for lanky Ellis. "That's Moonrunner. She's your Alphess." he explained, while the female trudged down the path.
She tilted her head, spotting the lavender male beside the navy-and-blonde wolf. "Who's this?" she inquired, shoving her muzzle in his face, sniffing all over, across his back, down to his sworded tail. She smirked, spreading her massive wings in approval. "Heh. This little pup is fantastic." she murmured, watching him quietly, before nodding over a shoulder and taking flight to the top of her hill once more.
"Go on~!" Ellis ordered, nudging the pup in the butt, careful to avoid his tail. "Go see her. She wants to speak with you little one~!"

-♦-"Here it goes..."-♦- Sabino. He wondered how the two were alike. They weren't built the same. Or maybe they were a little. They didn't talk the same. Then again, he was still a pup. They didn't have the same powers or abilities. But they did despise being called girl orientated names. He enjoyed that about this... Ellis.
Before long they had arrived to pack central. Wolves lazily laid about. Was it nap time? He curiously looked around. He hadn't really listened to what Ellis said. Only that his new alphess was about. It was only then did he noticed her presence as she invaded his personal space. Sniffing him left, right, up and under. He froze as her wings parted and carried her back to her resting spot.
He was nudged forward and snapped out of his frozen state. "She wants to see me?" he sputtered out. "Are you sure?" a sort of rock had fallen into the pit of his small stomach. He said she liked him so far. What more does he have to do to be fully excepted?
By now wolves left and right had noticed his arrival. To him they smelled strange. But he also had to realize that he smelled off to them. He looked at els and nodded. As if to say "I'm going in" he slowly put one paw in front of the other. His small wings folded in tight to his small body frame. He held his head up to try and prove himself to her before he got to her.
His steps grew bolder and stronger. More confident if you will. Until he reached the walk way to the rocks. He stood at the rocks and looked up at her. The climb was small that it seemed to him. But he made his climb to her.
"Hello..." he merely responded when he reached her.
