His teal muzzle peaked out over the surface of the water constantly, his crimson eyes shut tight. A single, ivory tusk pointed towards the sky of the same color while the figure floated, almost lazily down the gently lapping waves. Clearly, the male seemed unconscious, though his body steered itself well without the host.
His figure finally washed itself up on the shore of the widest part of the river within Hayden valley. Finally, one could see the orange and black tribal stripes adorning the male's pelt, along with various lacerations, cuts, scrapes, bald patches.
There he lay, the waves pushing him farther and farther up the bank, the sickly-looking male gasping for breath while he slept.

♦"A strange visitor..."♦ Xane. Today he found himself going about his duties alone. Even zafera was off doing her own thing. He figured it was time to see how the valley had progressed since spring had started. He was sure of prey expansion.
When he had turned to start going towards the river. He noticed a figure floating by the water line. This was odd... Then again, he has seen things wash up before. Oh well, time to investigate.
He trotted over to the river. Hurrying his pace to see what the mellow hype was about. He immediately noticed the odd pelt color. Blue and orange coat and colored tribal marks. It had tusks. It was odd.
He noticed the wolf was torn up ad unconscious. Barely floating above the water line. "I see someone needs some help..." he grabbed on to the scruff on the wolves neck. Pulling it out of the water. "And now is the waiting game..." he sat next tot eh wolf and curled his tail over his paws.

His head pulsated, pounded, blood thick in his ears. All he could smell was water- water, water, everywhere. He pushed those thoughts from his head, and tried to think hard. Where he had come from, why he was on a riverbank, what his name was. None of it came, just a blank, dark, memory. He rolled onto his side, painfully, feeling the cracked ribs there.
Then, he saw it. The dark figure looming beside him. The male knew he wasn't going to be wounded, as he was still alive. Carefully, he hauled his lank form onto his four paws, shaking out what little dampness in his coat remained. Then, he mirrored Xane, sitting with his bushy tail curled around his paws.
A long silence ensued between the males, with the aqua colored one swaying every now and again.
"I don't know where I am." the conversation began.

Body shot: browse.deviantart.com/?order=9&q=arctic+wolf+stock+photos&offset=48#/d42g4ncINDIGO Dainty, round paws carried the blind essa in her lope across her new homeland. Exploring and playing were the things she was good at. The things she wanted to do. Right now, now that she was mostly used to her new surroundings, she could just have fun and play as she went about looking for and greeting her pack members. As she got a picture of these surroundings she saw her Alpha and an odd looking wolf. Pausing, Indi tilted her head and observed the pair a moment before deciding she would go and say hello. She trotted to the pair and her head and tail were low in respect for her Alpha. “Hello my Alpha. And hello to you as well, sir.” Indi greeted the blue, oddly marked and tusked male. Then she flicked her towers back and forth as she observed the new male. Despite his odd markings, and his other…attributes…he was quite handsome. She tilted her head a little and sat down, not quite mirroring the males but close. And then she looked blindly from one to the other. She wanted to get to know this new male a little better, the longer she remembered his brief image the more intrigued she became. Her auds tipped forward as she waited for them to speak. ♦"Poor guy..."♦ Xane. It seemed like a long time until the male stirred from his dazed rest. In reality it only took about ten minutes for him to come to. He smiled as the wolf began to wake up. At least he knew he would live, hopefully. The wolf seemed quiet and confused. Which is a reasonable reaction for waking up after being unconscious
His tail lightly dusted the ground. He had always been a friendly wolf. He was especially friendly for those who needed it. And it seemed this wolf needed it. The wolf was unsteady on his weak legs. He stood up to try and give the male support. Sitting next to him so he had something to lean on. He hoped the male wouldn't mind, he was only trying to help. Finally the male spoke.
He inhaled to begin the conversation. "You're in western pack territory... My pack territory..." he smiled. He wondered where the male had drifted from. "It seems you need a place to rest... If you choose to take up my offer, you may stay until you feel well rested to continue your journey..." he knew the male wouldn't be able to go far. The condition he in was unstable and rough.
It wasn't long after he finished speak, he sensed his newest member to the pack. She greeted him and he turned his head to smile at her, "good afternoon indigo..." he nodded. But in a way, he had wished for him to have personal time with the new wolf before any other introductions to the pack. Even if there was a possibility of m only having a short stay here.
