| Blue, yellow, orange, red, purple, and pink flowers, amongst a green, grassy background, embraced by a blue and white sky, stood the white wolf. Almost blinding in the bright, noontime sun, Renaissance was at ease for the first time in a while. Yes, she had been relaxed before, but never had she the time, what with being Alphess and helping Xane to grow the pack from the all time low of four members from last winter's nigh death grip on the pack, to be almost lackadaisical. The poor saber-fanged she-wolf had almost no idea what to do with herself when there was nothing that immediately needed her tending. Taking her time to sniff the flowers was something she found enjoyable however, and besides the bees that buzzed obnoxiously loud in her ears, the crimson eyed she-wolf's thoughts turned to other matters.
The time is right, but practically... Renaissance, usually a calm, and extremely composed she-wolf with a sense of responsibility and not one who tended to express her emotions this way and that, felt almost irritated by the way she felt sometimes around him. She would feel her heartbeat rise, along with that light-headed feeling she would usually associated with sickness. It made the wolf, who had a somewhat heavier white coat, being a native of Northern Canada, sweat in what felt too her like nervousness. She had known the feeling before and it frustrated her to no end to feel it again. It was spring and the feeling in the air (She was an Empath.) was right, but how could she bear the most certain pain that would result? But knowing him, he would not outright slaughter her feelings, he would more likely be kinder about it. Her thoughts clouded with feelings of frustration, the Alphess failed to notice she was about to bump into a tree and let out a slight growl of pain when her forehead made contact with the rough bark of the tree, the lone tree in the meadow. Her thoughts returned to her surroundings and looking to the right, the wolf with the golden-heart bracelets saw another tree, just as proud and tall as its counterpart. The two trees stood prominently in the vivid meadow. Blinking twice, the female sat, and smiled. She would tell him, eventually, rejection be rejection.
Perhaps there be a chance...

♦"Spring is in the air!"♦ Xane. Rennisance had been busy with pack hunts here and there. And xane had been busy with introducing new members to the pack. Busy work between them, but none of it really together. They kind of just went off and did their own thing. You have to do what you have to do. Although he had missed her presence since the pack had began to get bigger.
He surveyed his surroundings. An array of bold colors covered the valley green grass was everywhere. He slowly drew in the intoxicating aroma of newly budding flowers. His tail lightly swayed. The only thing that threw him off in the valley was a white spot. He smiled, it was Renaissance. She must have escaped from pack duties for the afternoon. He didn't mind, the pack was already in a fair condition.
It was then he realized, it was spring. The flowers. The feelings. The changes. And while he thought this he was looking at her. He has had feelings for her for quiet sometime now. He knew if he did this, it would mean putting Sira behind him. He knew he was ready. But it was just his heart refusing to move on. But he knew it was time.
He descended his way into the valley to meet her. "Good afternoon, renniasance" he greeted. He was half way to her. He decided to pick up his paws and hurry his pace to be by her side. Not too eager, but not too slow. "It's been a while since I've had some time with you, hasn't it?" he chuckled. Then he realized those choice of words were a bit brash, "I mean... Since pack expansion and season change..." he corrected himself. He was by her side now, smiling. A cool spring breeze settled over the valley. How, relaxing.

| Lying down in the shade of one of the great oak trees now, with her head and muzzle resting on her forepaws and head looking out from the rest of her body, Renaissance couldn't help but smile with her ivory saber-fangs as Xane descended into the valley to meet her. Renaissance couldn't name the last time she had seen him, but she was briefly reminded of the moments when she saw a flash of his brownish-grey fur, when she was in the middle of taking care of pack affairs and how she realized that her crimson gaze would stay on him until he had disappeared from her watchful view. She peered up at him with her dark, but bright red eyes and the pure white wolf decided to stand up, her feet moving to support her weight on the springy, thick green grasses of Hayden Valley.
The breeze is relaxing... Enjoying the breeze that rustled her thick, and shedding coat (Which she irritatingly had to groom every morning until she was done shedding for spring.) she chuckled at his quick correction to his previous comment. "Hello Xane, are we a bit tounge-tied today? And yes, it has been a while, how have you been?" - she responded pleasantly, her ears perking up to face the Alpha. She stood across from him, shaded by the tree above her. Normally she wouldn't have made small chat, but it was a special occasion, both in the fact that she was finally seeing him again and the fact that she wished to tell him something.
Indeed, I just hope he feels the same way...

Body shot: browse.deviantart.com/?order=9&q=arctic+wolf+stock+photos&offset=48#/d42g4ncINDIGO She had just been invited into the pack by Xane and Zafera and had since been learning the lay of her packland. Opening her mouth she gathered an image of her surroundings with her echolocation and enhanced hearing and continued on her lope through the Hayden Valley, as she had already become accustomed to Targe Forest and all its little tricks and safe places to bed down. The valley was so much larger and so much more to get used too. She was happy here, life was going well for the blind essa and she just wanted to have fun and run about. Parting her jaws once more she collected another image of her surroundings and paused, there in the valley beneath the shade of some oak trees was the familiar shape of Xane, and another wolf, and the way they carried themselves, Indi guessed that this must be the Alphess. Smiling, she changed her forward progression, and approached the pair, her head and tail low as she greeted them both. “Hello again my Alpha. I hope I am not intruding too much.” She told him and then turned to address the female beside them. “And greetings to you as well, my Alphess?” Indi asked as she looked blindly between the male and female. If she was intruding too much, she could always head off and collect a snack. She tilted her auds toward the pair and waited. Words~242 Speaking Listening Thoughts Other~She can always have her interest captured by something else if alpha pair don't want her listening in on their conversation.
