[li] Profanity is allowed, but please don't go over board. Let's be grown up about this.
[/li][li] Have a little maturity. There isn't really a rating to this site. It doesn't have to be kept G but don't make it an R rated site.
[/li][li] One account per person; and please try to keep a little list of all your characters in your signature (or a link to your log).
[/li][li] When you first join our rpg, you will be given five thousand in virtual money to spend at the shop; this allows you to get enough items to create at least one fantasy-inspired wolf. After that you can build up your money through posting to buy more trinkets and goodies!
[/li][li] When you create your account make sure you log on at least once during your first week. If you do not log in and make your first wolf within the first two weeks. Automatic account deletion. So please. Just log on.
ROLEPLAY
[/li][li] You need a minimum of 100 words per in character post. I advise you to use the spell check and proofread all your work. Good grammar is valued! To find the word count, simply look below the bottom buttons while typing up a post.
[/li][li] This is considered an intermediate roleplay. So basically, if you cannot spell, or write very poorly, you should probably find somewhere else. But, you are welcome to stay of you ask for help or tips on how to write better.
[/li][li] Liquid time is perfectly acceptable if you want to use it.
[/li][li] Be realistic in the behavior and appearance of your wolves (besides the fantasy factor). Nothing is perfect; flawed characters are all the more enjoyable to play.
[/li][li] You cannot roleplay a new character until it is accepted by staff. Don't worry, it won't take long.
[/li][li] Wolves are straight, no bisexual or homosexual. Nothing against the wonderful lifestyle, but wolves can't be gay.
[/li][li] When creating a wolf, please stay as realistic to wolf charatertis as possible. Make it realistic, please... For example, wolves do not have human disorders. I realize we make them talk, but please keep them far from human characteristics as possible.
[/li][li] Do NOT double post with different characters in the same thread! It doesn't make things fair when others do not double post to get extra spending amounts.
REPRODUCTION
[/li][li] You may play out mild mating scenes, but anything considered graphic will be removed.
[/li][li] For rules on mating rights, see your pack alpha rules.
[/li][li] Only wolves are allowed here; no dog or coyote crossbreeds. However, you are free to mix different wolf types, such as an arctic wolf and arabian wolf.
FIGHTS
[/li][li] Wolves may fight over practically anything; food, rank, mates, territory, an object of desire.
[/li][li] The end result of the fight will be determined by either 1) the two fighters, or 2) a staff member.
[/li][li] Territory can be won through fights with a neighboring pack, or it can be claimed if there is no owner.
[/li][li] Obviously there is no powerplaying and such during fighting. This means you cannot: Bob jumped on Sue, knocking her over and slashing her throat. You can, however: Bob jumped toward Sue, aiming to knock her over and hopefully slash her throat.
[/li][li] Be realistic, for goodness sakes! If two characters get into a serious fight, I want to see both of them receive serious wounds!
TERRITORY
[/li][li] A neighboring pack can force another pack to give up a board of their territory, through fighting. If a pack is completely driven out of their territory, they will inhabit the outlands until they can claim territory for themselves.
Want to know about the hierarchies?
-The alphas have full authority. They can deliver punishments as they think appropriate, so long as powerplaying is not used.
-Betas are essentially the deputies for the alpha pair; they are expected to enforce the alphas' rules and keep order in the pack.
-Members are the bulk and muscle of the pack; they do the fighting and hunting and are expected to follow the alphas' and betas' authority. However, any wolf can fight for a new rank.
-Pups are a very high priority. They are well fed, protected, and taught, but discipline is also important. If anyone is caught abusing a pup, they may receive serious punishments by other members and/or the alphas.
-Elders may or may not be given respect; it varies from pack to pack and wolf to wolf. Sometime elders will be driven out for their weakness, but at other times they may be treasured for their experience.
-There is a single omega in each pack; this wolf is at the very bottom of the chain. He may stand as the scapegoat of the pack, or may simply have a submissive or timid attitude by nature.[/li][/ul][/size][/blockquote]
